The heat had an impact which was out of the hotels control. But I would not be able to stay again without air condition in room.
Good location and impressive building outside
No air conditioning and a bit dated.
A bit shocked to be asked if I wanted to pay in US Dollars!!! What’s that all about?
Then to have 12.5% tips added to each room without asking me was a new low - again creating a dynamic of money grabbing without even asking. I refused to pay it. Left a bad taste of entitlement but more than that, it’s NEVER happened to me before like that in the UK.
Close to River Thames with great views and walks along the river into Richmond or the opposite direction into the countryside. Various places of interest to visit a short drive away. Great weather was a bonus.
Good quality hotel with nice out look from bedroom and dining area. Location next to river with good parking. Provides all that you would expect of a good quality hotel.
Location was excellent
No air conditioning in the room but didn’t ruin our stay.
Location, room location overlooking rider and fields.
Price!
A little high for room and also cost of breakfast so we chose not to eat here as we are very small breakfast eaters and it would have been £36 each.
Very clean rooms, beautiful view
Beautiful building and rooms, with exceptional riverside views from room and restaurant. Helpful staff and good service in restaurant.
The restaurant food was mediocre and expensive.
Breakfast very good
No air con in the room. For this price, air con is essential
Beautiful building with stunning views.
Was woken up by a hotel maintenance man using an electric sanding machine on some doors right under our bedroom window, followed by workman digging up the road again just below our window. The road was closed when we arrived and nobody on check-in had mentioned the work being done or made any effort to move us to another part of the hotel which would have been quieter despite the hotel not being fully booked. Definitely a very early and abrupt end to our romantic wedding anniversary night away - we couldn’t leave quick enough.
Location
Couldn't watch Mundial
Simply amazing!!
Clean, location, beautifully presented,
A bit flat in atmosphere didn’t like eating lunch in what they call the lounge when people are reading in what they call the lounge. It looked more like the library. Not ideal for eating your lunch
Nice room
Nowhere to plug in a hairdryer near mirror
Air conditioning in the very comfortable room
Lovely and clean and location
