Gorgeous rooms right on the beach
Pros:

We booked this last minute.
The rooms were really nice & very comfortable.
Right on the beach front so gorgeous location.
Super quiet area so we decided to have a meal at the hotel & it was delicious.
The staff were super friendly & helpful.

Cons:

Nothing really but the location was a little quiet for us but that is just personal preference rather than anything negative about the hotel.

Prachtige locatie!! Fijne ligbedden bij het zwembad en ruime kamer. Ook fijn om een zitje te hebben bij de kamer.

Cons:

Het eten was niet geweldig en helaas waren de gordijnen niet verduisterend dus je wordt vroeg wakker

Pros:

Die Lage ist einfach der Wahnsinn! Direkt am Strand, der verhältnismäßig leer ist und wunderschön. Klar, es ist ab vom Schuss - aber das sucht man hier ja auch. Und es gibt Tuktuk-Fahrer, die einen bei Bedarf auch zum nächsten Dorf bringen. Zur Entspannung Hammer!
Auch das Personal ist super nett, die Zimmer sehr schön!

Prachtige plek direct aan zee, erg genoten. Vanwege de oorlog was het er lekker rustig en was het strand bijna leeg. Fijn vertoeven na toerisrosche deel van Sri Lanka. Zeker een aanrader!

I would definitely recommend Lanka Beach Bungalows for peace, relaxation and great food!
Pros:

We stayed here for five nights having done a few nights in budget accommodation as we travelled from Kandy to here. The location isn't really within walking distance of a town (and we are walkers!) which we were worried on arrival would be a problem, but due to the quality of the hotel, it wasn't at all.

Our room was actually a bungalow, inclusive of sufficient storage, a good size ensuite and an outdoor shower which was both hot and powerful (although there's nothing quite like being eye-balled by a gecko or small snake when you're starkers under the sky). The bungalow was clean and serviced every day and very peaceful at night (you can hear the waves from the sea!).

One of the best things about this accommodation was the food. Although we'd only booked for B&B, we ended up eating here every night because the quality was so good, both the breakfast and the dinner! There are options nearby though (along the beach or track that leads to the hotel).

The location of the bungalow gave direct access to a sandy beach. The sand was clean and soft and the beach sparse of people. Local fishermen landed here and tourists often went to help, which was nice! Akin to elsewhere in Sri Lanka, the one downside was the number of dogs but they showed no interest in tourists. It is possible to swim in the sea if you are a confident swimmer. It's lovely to hear the sea from the bungalow and restaurant though!

Urlaub im tropischen Paradies
Pros:

Tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Baden im Meer ist durchaus sportlich, wer das mit den Wellen mag hat Spaß. Ansonsten gibt es einen sehr schönen Pool. Die Anlage insgesamt ist sehr gepflegt, viele wunderschöne Kokospalmen. Die Bungalows sind zweckmäßig und großzügig eingerichtet. Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Gutes Restaurant.

Cons:

Da fällt uns nichts ein. Der Himmel von dem Mückennetz über dem Bett sollte mal gereinigt werden.

Direkt am Strand. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen. Das Team organisiert auch Fahrten nach Ella, etc. Unser privater Fahrer war top. Vielen Dank.

Aüsserst entspanntes Boutiquehotel am Indischen Ozean

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick in der Villa: tolles Boutique Hotel in Traumlage zum Strand. Gute Schwimmer gehen morgen und abends in den Ozean, ansonsten gibt es 2 schöne Pools. Villa und Zimmer dort sehr edel, großer Balkon, sehr ruhig. Regionaler Transport mit TucTuc völlig unproblematisch, Restaurant bei sehr gutem YPreis-/ Leistungsverhältnis großartig. Sehr freundliches Servicepersonal.

Pros:

Heerlijk resort met een mooi zwembad en een privéstrandje. Onze kamer was mooi en ruim, met een ruime badkamer en een groot eigen balkon. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en een goed ontbijt. Let er wel op dat je vooraf moet aangeven of je de kamer wilt laten schoonmaken; dat kan dagelijks.

To miejsce jest po prostu przepiękne 🌸 Pokoje, przynajmniej te w willi na piętrze z widokiem na ocean, robią ogromne wrażenie – widoki zapierają dech w piersiach. Plaża cudowna, kameralna i niemal pusta – tylko sporadycznie ktoś przechodził, co dawało poczucie prywatności i prawdziwego relaksu 🌴🥥
Śniadania i obiady bardzo smaczne, wszystko świeże. Dodatkowym atutem są baseny, które pozwalają jeszcze bardziej cieszyć się pobytem. Personel przemiły, zawsze uśmiechnięty i pomocny. To miejsce ma wyjątkowy klimat – zdecydowanie polecamy!

Cons:

Pizza w restauracji zwykła beznadziejna mrożonka.
Hotel na kompletnym odludziu, co dla nas było rewelacyjnym trzydniowym odpoczynkiem po intensywnym zwiedzaniu wyspy. Jednak na dłuższy okres by mi się nudziło.
Przydały by się jakieś deski do zabawy na falach jak w sąsiednim hotelu.

Schöne Anlage direkt am Strand
Pros:

Wunderschön gelegen direkt am Strand mit ausreichend großem, sehr gut gepflegten Pool. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und an einem Abend haben wir auch einen sehr guten Thunfisch gegessen. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Nachdem es schon in einer Bewertung vor 2 Jahren erwähnt wurde, könnte die Pool-Einstiegsstange wirklich einmal befestigt werden… Ein bißchen störend die eigentlich nicht korrekten 3% Kreditkarten-„Gebühr“.

Pros:

Direkt an einem wirklich sauberen, wunderschönen Strand gelegen, mit tollem Zimmer, 2 Pools und hervorragendem Restaurant. Für uns eine der besten Lokation in Sri Lanka( und wir waren eigentlich überall).
