Pros:

Beautiful old mansion. Tarnished but fantastic in its history, interiors, ceiling height, views. The owner, Ismayil, was very accommodating to all requests.

Cons:

Being a converted old mansion, the room was small for the 2 beds they have in but I don't know how you would change that. The bathroom was a retrofit and functions well but there is a huge height difference from the room up to the bathroom with a tough to manage super high step. I don't love Turkish coffee so ordered 2 cups each Americanos. Charged $5 each for a small americano which is exorbitant. Good coffee. Crazy price. Other than that the breakfast choices were great. Though I loved the place, it does not look like the photos in booking. Like I said, a bit "tarnished" but fabulous nonetheless. Pretty decent walk from town if you have big luggage. But that said, it was "far from the madding crowd". I would stay again.

В отеле Анастасия царит дух старины , покоя и домашнего уюта ! Семейный отель располагает к себе своей загадочностью , атмосферой тайны и спокойствия! Завтраки отличные , как у мамы.. номера очень милые и уютные! Хочется приезжать еще и еще !

Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable à l’hôtel Anastasia sur l’Île aux Princes. L’endroit est plein de charme, avec une ambiance authentique qui change des hôtels classiques.

La chambre était confortable et le cadre vraiment paisible, parfait pour une petite escapade. Le petit déjeuner était également très sympa, simple mais de qualité, avec des produits frais.

Une belle expérience que nous recommandons pour ceux qui cherchent un séjour calme et dépaysant !

Great atsmosphere and a good place to soak up the history of Buyukada
Pros:

One of the most characterful places we have stayed in. Loved the historical atmosphere. Fabulous views of the Bosphorus from the balconies. The staff were especially friendly and kind during a difficult time for our family. Food was very tasty. Good value!

Cons:

The property isn’t the most modern and those who prioritise large bathrooms or luxury bedding might look elsewhere, but we enjoyed the historical touches and artefacts which are the charm of the place

Wünderschön würde ich jederzeit wieder machen.
Pros:

Sehr familiär wunderschöne Atmosphäre,das Ehepaar was das otel betreibt sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

I definately recommend it🙃
Pros:

An extraordinary 200-year-old magnificent building. The cleaning was very good. The open buffet breakfast in the garden was very good. The hosts were with us at all times, they made us feel as if we came to their home as guests. We will come again one day.

A magical and unforgettable stay
Pros:

I had the most magical stay at this charming historic hotel — it felt like stepping into another era. I celebrated my birthday here, and İsmail and Özlem made it truly unforgettable with their heartfelt congratulations and warm hospitality.

The breakfast was delicious, served with care and attention to every detail. The bed linens were soft and comforting, and I loved noticing all the small, thoughtful touches around the hotel — from antique furniture to nostalgic artwork — which created such a unique and cozy atmosphere.

Enjoying tea with a view of the sea made every morning special!

I was truly enchanted by this place. I will definitely be coming back again! Thank you!

Pros:

A beautiful 19th century ottoman house. The shared areas are truly beautiful. Perhaps the rooms themselves are a little less impressive, but they are still perfectly comfortable. The breakfast is good.. It's a manageable walk from the ferry, even with luggage

Cons:

The bedrooms are fine. But after the magnificence of the entrance, stairway and landing they do feel a little disappointing!
