Staff were friendly, kind and helpful.
Mosquito nets and air con provided.
The road to get there is very bumpy, in wet weather it may not have been passable. In a small car, it was very uncomfortable.
The rooms were quite basic, nothing provided in fridges. Mosquito nets were provided but old.
The location is really in the middle of the bush, which has its charms, but there were a LOT of insects.
Pool was a bit dirty.
The grounds were in disrepair. Photos on booking.com must be a bit out of date.
For the price, unfortunately we were disappointed.

The house was really beautiful and big enough to be comfortable in 6 people
Nothing. The road is a gravel road but wide and not that difficult to ride, even with small car.
The pictures does not compare to the the actual. The units seem clean but are very old and needs some work. The place is rundown.
Nice clean guesthouse. Nice breakfast and friendly staff
The road from the township to the guesthouse is very poor. Potential guests should be informed to approach the guesthouse from town. It is still a gravel road, but in fairly good condition
The is perfect and very quiet,,it's really enjoyable, and not forgetting the friendly and caring stuff
The guesthouse provides a nice breakfast. There is enough parking available. The room was clean and have a nice bed.
The road is very poor if you follow google maps from Gravelotte. You need a SUV to drive it safely. The road from town is much better.
Warm welcome from lovely staff. Great and yummy breakfast and clean and nice swimming pool. Good location from Krugers gate and away from the city bustle.
Stagnant water next the room so that plenty of mosquitoes. Mosquito nets torned so not effective.
Bedroom clean but huge doubts that sheets were changed. We can see that there is no improvement on comments posted a couple of years ago. If there is no improvement , this lovely lodge will decline.
There was no water to wash or shower in the morning. The swimming pool was dirty and didn’t resemble the photo shown when booking.
fresh air
forest environment
did not serve us dinner
Unfortunately there wasnt a kettle or coffee/tea station in the room where you can make your own coffee and no TV.
Was good
Too short a stay to comment on this
The peace and tranquility was wonderful. The aircons was helpful in the extreme heat. Joshua's friendliness made the place HoMe. He was always everywhere and helped with whatever we asked for. Early in the morning he was already up and going and stayed up untill late at night with us. Normann is Joshua and Jushua is Normann Safari Lodge.
Gwen - thank you for my Dad's 80th birthday present
Rooms: The shower messes water in front of the toilet, which takes quite some time to dry and is slippery. No pull-up handles for the elderly at the toilets, mosquito nets are torned. Space around the beds in Rhino room were not enough for my dad and brother. I did pay for 3, but after my brother saw the space he said he will rather sleep in his flat in town. What a pity.
Outside: lights can dim at night, and the big tree at the parking area can be protected by tires. I reversed right into it and damage the car's bumper. What a pity
With the location, the poor road from town is the biggest challenge.
Breakfast was good.
The peace in the bush was calming
The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful
The access road from Town is a mess, especially for small 🚗🚗.
