Dommage que l'on ne puisse pas stopper la clim . elle fait du bruit toute la nuit.
il manque une paroi de douche amovible cela empêcherait d'arroser le sol de la salle de bain.
What a fabulous find! Beautiful location, room excellent and facilities great. Décor and ambience wonderful. Exactly what we needed after a long drive. Warm welcome and service and of course the restaurant and food. I could wax lyrical for hours! Suffice to say we would highly recommend and will visit again!
Les prestations de cet hôtel sont assez chères, mais la qualité est au rendez-vous. Grand confort, bon restaurant, petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix, des produits variés et goûteux. Belles salles à manger avec vue sur la vieille ville de Charlieu. Je recommande.
We originally went to the Relais de l’Abbaye just for its restaurant, having heard it was fantastic—and it truly was! The food was exquisite, the kind that makes you quietly vow to return before dessert even arrives. The staff were wonderfully kind and made everything feel effortless.
But the stay turned out to be so much more: I loved visiting the Museum of Silk (and came home with a beautiful piece that still turns heads) and learned fascinating things about medicinal plants at the Hospital Museum of Charlieu. I even bought a book about magic plants just to remember this particular day when life was more than it appeared.
A truly fantastic experience from start to finish—can’t wait to go back one day!

Hôtel moderne bien entretenu dont la localisation est pratique pour visiter Charlieu et le pays charolais-brionnais ou pour faire une simple halte d'étape. Parking commode; accueil affable; chambre confortable; petit déjeuner excellent. Le restaurant offre un cadre agréable et reposant avec vue sur un troupeau de paisibles charolaises.
Le restaurant devrait proposer un menu plus simple, peut-être plus local et moins coûteux aux voyageurs qui veulent seulement se restaurer "sans façon" et digérer sans problème. L'établissement propose en effet une offre sophistiquée et chère qui est du reste assez décevante par rapport aux prétentions gastronomiques affichées.
