Tæt på strand og hyggeligt
Pros:

Personalet var søde og imødekommende.
Hotellet lå meget tæt på stranden, lige ved restauranter og byliv, men lidt tilbagetrukken fra vejen.

Cons:

Det eneste minus var at det var lidt slidt, men det havde ikke nogen betydning for mig.

Great welcome to Sri Lanka, just the relaxing start I needed 😊
Pros:

I had booked many before this as was undecided but this was a last minute decision to go with Suite 262, the pool did it 😀 and very happy I was.
The guys in reception when I arrived late after a long day travelling were very welcoming and helpful.
My room was spacious and clean with all I needed, including a pool view balcony and a TV (which they came and sorted out for me), not that had time to watch.
It is in a perfect location across the road from a nice beach bar and walking distance to plenty of restaurants and all you need.
It was a real winner to come back to a beautifully lit relaxing pool at the end of day for a dip before dinner.
I stayed 4 nights as was waiting to meet friends before seeing Sri Lanka.
I would recommend this as a lovely calm smooth place to decompress from flights and start an adventure.
All staff and the owner were lovely, friendly and helpful with info snd organising. Whilst there they arranged a pick up to take me for a massage at beautiful Jasmine Villa Spa and a Lagoon Sunset Boat trip.
If I find myself in Negombo again, I only hope they have a room spare for me.

Cons:

More toilet paper left if a service had been done in rhe room over the 4 days. But minor as there was always someone around to ask.
Bathroom a little dated and needed a shower/bathmat but all in working order

Needed some inexpensive and close to amenities. Ticked all the boxes.

Pros:

Het personeel is bijzonder aardig en behulpzaam, en maken bovendien echt contact met je. Beste wat ik na 9 hotels in Sri Lanka heb meegemaakt.
Ontbijt is heerlijk!

Cons:

Helaas had mijn kamer last van achterstallig onderhoud (vloerplanken opgetrokken door vocht en van plafond in de badkamer bladderde verf naar beneden) en het beddegoed vertoonde sporen van slijtage waardoor het niet zo schoon lijkt.. Het bed zelf was comfortabel en de airco werkte gelukkig prima.

Great stay
Pros:

Bright, clean, staff welcoming and helpful. Slightly set back from the main road, which meant noise was not a problem. The pool was refreshing and the seating around it was good as it allowed conversation between guests, which enhanced our one night stay. Lots of local restaurants and good stretch of beach, with great sunset. We used it as a one night before our return home after a 2 week holiday, whereas others were here for a week - would definitely recommend

Cons:

No breakfast on site, but this really wasn’t a problem as so much close by.

I stayed here for 8 days during my vacation, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and a nice, clean pool. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the owner was genuinely welcoming and accommodating.
