他の人に知らせたくないと思うくらい、この宿は素晴らしく良かった。清潔さは抜群だし、朝食は美味しく充実している。部屋は広く、ベッドも天蓋のある素敵なものだ。かわいいバルコニーも付いていて、そこからリスや、隣家の屋根の上で日向ぼっこをする大きなトカゲなどが見え、ゆったりとした気持ちになった。スタッフも皆さん親切だった。UBERでどこにでも移動できるので場所も問題にはならない。キャンディにもこのホテルがあるようなので、そちらも泊まってみたい。

Nice hotel for a night. It was clean, nice shower, and excellent price. I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay in Colombo as the hotel is quite far from the center of town.

部屋はとても広く、ゴージャスで美しかったです。
部屋の中はとても静かで、ゆっくりと眠れました。
朝ごはんは、いろいろと出してくれて、お腹がいっぱいになりました。

オーナーは日本語がペラペラで、とても親切で頼りになります。

オーナーさんには旅行プランなどの相談やバワ建築・庭園の見学予約をしてもらいました。唯一の不満はシャワーの温水温度が不安定だったことです。

We stayed 6 nights at Richmond House Colombo. After 2 weeks traveling in South Asia, we arrived in Colombo too tired to strike out on our own to see the city and other parts of Sri Lanka. So we met with manager Naweera who helped us put together a series of tours of the city, Galle and Kandy, using the hotel's private car and driver, Sanjeewa. Naweera even arranged for us to spend a night at the Richmond House's sister hotel in Kandy, a delightful place high on a hill with dramatic views of the city. We can't say enough positive things about Richmond House--the hotel facility and staff. Our room was quite large--bedroom and sitting area. Restaurant meals were excellent, both food quality and service. While the location is on a noisy urban street, rooms are on the back side and very cool and quiet. Staff could not have been more caring and helpful. Colombo traffic is crazy, so we preferred the quiet convenience of a driver and car to tuk tuks or public transportation.

Everything was perfect and after 2 days, we got upgraded to a suite after a client went berserk and attacked a staff member. Management was quick to handle the situation and we had an incredible stay. The only draw back for people staying only a day or two in Colombo, is that it is far from touristic attractions areas such as shopping and/or the beach and there are very few restaurant choices around the hotel itself. Tuk-Tuk to and from areas of interest runs around $10 a day.

Naweera (?manager/owner) responded superbly to my request for a room with 2 beds by upgrading us to the Presidential Suite which contained 2 single and 1 king size. It was great service and I will definitely recommend this hotel. The breakfast was adequate, served well in a lovely dining room. For this price it was a great place to stay!

ホテルのマネージャーさんも従業員さんもとても親切でタクシーの手配も毎日お世話になりました。日本語でお話しできて安心でしたし、素敵な滞在となりました。価格もリーズナブルで嬉しかったです。

Ett litet, mysigt ställe med fina och rena rum, bra service och fin frukost, omfattande för att vara continental. Tyvärr ligger dock stället ganska långt bort och många Tuktuk-förare har svårt att hitta.

We stayed here two nights for vacation. The hotel manager, Naweera, was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were able to arrange a 9-day tour outside Colombo and get very good rates for it. We are grateful to him for going beyond his duty to help us with that late into the night before we were supposed to leave.
