Customer service ,Once I checked in I used my phone and paid but she asked me to give her my card details again, I didn't know she was a scam me but luckily my bank alert me to cancel my visa card and I did.

A Memorable Stay at the Grand Papua Hotel
Pros:

The Grand Papua Hotel in Port Moresby is a very special property and certainly a landmark. Its location is excellent and can be appreciated from many perspectives. One aspect I particularly valued was how quiet the hotel was at night, which allowed for good rest. The facilities are very good overall: the room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and there were no insects, which was a significant additional plus. I also appreciated the small kitchenette in the room, including a refrigerator, which was extremely convenient for storing items such as fruit.

Cons:

On the less positive side, during my stay the hotel was undergoing maintenance, which made daytime hours rather noisy due to ongoing works. Another important point for me was the swimming pool, which was smaller than expected and, on some days, even closed for maintenance; at times, the water quality was not ideal. I would however like to strongly commend the staff, especially Dorothy, for their kindness and professionalism. As the internet connection in my room was not stable enough for video conferences, the staff kindly arranged access to the executive lounge conference room, which was perfectly suited for my online meetings.

Good location, friendly staff, but a little basic otherwise.
Pros:

Central city location is ideal for me (& good views)

Cons:

Rooms are quite tired. They advertise a refurbishment programme but it seems to be onto its third year already (& when I checked in I had to get maintenance to come and fix the air con unit which was dripping onto the carpet).
Restaurant menu could do with updating even annually.

Perfect place to stay in sports Morseby
Pros:

Everything was fabulous at Grand Papua Hotel, from the well appointed and super room and the incredible sea view, to the food and the staff are so helpful, friendly and utmost professional. A beautiful place to stay in Port Morseby.
