Perfect place to stay in sports Morseby
Pros:

Everything was fabulous at Grand Papua Hotel, from the well appointed and super room and the incredible sea view, to the food and the staff are so helpful, friendly and utmost professional. A beautiful place to stay in Port Morseby.

Excellent modern hotel in heart of Port Moresby. Shuttle bus doesn't run late and not that frequent.
Pros:

Excellent modern hotel in heart of Port Moresby Town. Lots of character. Excellent meals, buffet and well priced drinks. Hotel being upgraded in 2026 and 2027.

Cons:

Shuttle transfer could be more frequent (outsourced to Black Swan). Almost missed last shuttle bus at 8 pm due to late arrival of flight.

Cons:

1. Room Service order - usually I have no issues with Room Service, however yesterday evening I understand due to short staff my order took longer than expected to arrive, only for the order to be incorrect so I had to send it back, even when it did arrive it was still the incorrect order, given how late it was already in the evening I didn’t have the heart to send it back the second time

2. Call from reception this morning before checkout- I’m a regular that often requests for the late check out at 12pm, this morning I was called by the front desk staff whom was somewhat rude in the phone that I hadn’t checked out yet, when I mentioned I had requested the late checkout at 12pm the response was “12pm it is then” which sounded somewhat sarcastic in which I did not appreciate especially for someone that’s often checked in at GPH in which I mostly come across very friendly staff but this particular staff was just somewhat rude

Overall suggest the Hotel is best ever
Pros:

The Hotel is excellent, staffs and the property itself provide best and affordable services to the customers. I really enjoy the view of sea and affordable room that's meets my staying. Restaurant itself the best that provide meals , buffet food services and the staffs that greet the customer and service it's 100 % ..I wish that I'll be coming on my next business trip and stay here at Grand Papua Hotel, the hotel that provides best ever across and in Port Moresby.

Cons:

No chewing betelnut keeps the hotel environment perfect.

For bookings. staff has to respond and confirm reservations in advance and respond to emails or phn calls when client make an reservations. I came across lately since I'm a member of Coral sea hotel recently and I wish that this couldn't be happen again.
