Pros:

Nijarya insanı çok rahat. Parasını ödediğim rezervasyonu göremediler. İki saat uğraştım. Hotels.com adresi ile iletişime geçmeye çalıştım olmadı. Yurtdışından iletişim kuramıyorsunuz. Ödediğim odaya kapora bıraktım ertesi gün bakacaklarını söylediler. Sonra 4 gün olan rezervasyonumu 2 gün yapmışsınız dediler. Tamamen rezaletti. Türkiyeden arattırdım hotels.com’u ve 4 günlük konaklamamda 3. Gün olayı çözdüler. Hep stres. ! Bir daha booking dışında rezervasyon yapmam, siz de yapmayın !

Few changes and this would have been a good stay
Pros:

We stayed at Newton Park Hotel for about 7 days in November.

One of the women by the restaurant area - the one who sits at the desk by the entrance (with long black weave) was one of the rudest people I have ever come across. No good morning, no good afternoon. Unable to answer basic questions. We were looking for a place to sit and asked her if there was any other seating. She initially completely ignored us but then just pointed our party of 4 to the few individual seats available AT OTHER PEOPLE'S TABLES... I do not know what her purpose was, she looked like a bored sulky teenager. I do not understand how she still has a job, but I assume she knows somebody important.

The food was a mixed bag. Relatively basic and not a huge amount of choice. For one meal, the fish was served stone cold. The place where you sit to eat was not necessarily cleaned in between diners or even in between meals. I'd suggest going out to eat.

Room was fine, AC worked well, cleaned to a very high standard. The pool area was good, well maintained - we saw them cleaning it. The guy by the pool was really kind and allowed us to swim very close to closing time. The guy by the bar was also very helpful and went to the kitchen to get us some a complimentary dessert after the cold fish incident. Really lovely gesture.

A few things to improve - we thought the WiFi was very slow and kept disconnecting. People also tended to leave dirty dishes in the corridor that were not cleared away for several hours. A few 'young ladies' in suggestive outfits seemed to visit guests when there was a large conference on. To each their own, but might not be a hugely family friendly hotel...

A few improvements (mainly firing the lady at the restaurant) and this would have been a good stay. One of the members of management was incredibly welcoming. We didn't get his name, but he was tall, slim, light-skinned complexion. He seemed to work day and night. He was very attentive, asked us if we needed anything, asked how our stay was etc. Really great guy!

In summary, a really mixed bag - I'd have to think about the other options available before staying here again.

Big hotel worst management
Pros:

Business Trip 2

I stayed at this hotel in the month of April 2018, for a day or so, It was terrible in following aspects and when I had to visit Abuja again on 7th August 2018 I called the hotel again and asked if the issues has been resolved. As a marketing gimmick it was ensured that the things has been taken care of and this time the experience would be very different. Little I knew that I fell into marketing gimmick. In short your hotel is Big with worst kind of management – and I am sure this would be causing a big dent on ur profitably too

Internet – if in todays world wifi does not work and over months the speed is nil – I must say its the baddest of place for any business person. I changed 2 rooms last time and this time also , on everyday basis, I made requests as well as did make some noise – result no one hears
Food – Any hotel heart is its restaurant from morning complimentary to evening drinks and dinner. With the kind of money u r taking from clients – u r offering worst breakfast. Since its complimentary and people have to start their day early no choice - its pathetic. There is no variety, Chef have no idea what to do … This is first hotel where even u don’t get desserts. The dinner is equally worst . Thats the reason u have fewer resident guests for dinner leave outside guests.
Rooms ; The room are in pathetic shape. Toilet roll holder was on ground when I checked in. 2 chairs have been dirty to the core and smelly. The layout of the study table has no connection for laptop. The tea and coffee holder paper was torn off … Shown to ur duty manager . On a very serious note even one star hotel in Delhi is better than ur huge building no content.

4. This is a first hotel where for 4 days you can’t have the audience of GM . From 2nd day to the last day … From morning , afternoon , evening he is in meetings. No one has the authority to call him , if the client has issues what GM job is ?

Fit to Purpose
Pros:

Location is well secured, the first thing to look for in Abuja, inside parking area. Breakfast is very basic buffet but quite satisfactory , serving only hot drinks , juice is to be added to bill if order.
My room (403) is fine and high sleeping quality , I loved the pillows. AC is window type and noisy. tea and water bottle is complementary, bath towels are clean; less power socket made using laptop and other devices is quite challenge. TV size is perfect however channel is limited with low signal quality at evening(cloudy sky).
Wi-Fi password available at front desk, ask for special password if stay more than 3 days
I would recommend the management to provide guest' slippers and safe box to every room.

Do not go here
Pros:

A very bad experience overall! Hotel not as advertised, pictures of the hotel in the website deceive you! Hotel is very bad, dirty, and unsafe! Had a bad experience overall and not even got a refund ( left the hotel after 2 nights as could not stay in that place).

Basics Covered
Pros:

This is an ok hotel. Nothing really stands out about it. No real view, see my view from the window. Basic amenities were clean, the people were pleasant enough but it was what was happening at this hotel that made it interesting. The Selassie fashion show was hosted there with the red carpet photo ops and interviews and beautiful people! The show made our stay there worth it. Had a great time.

My preferred hotel in Abuja
Pros:

Over the last 3 or 4 years, this has become my preferred location in Abuja when I'm here on business. Like most locals, I have family here so it's always a battle to be allowed to stay in a hotel when I visit!

I love this place for many reasons: it is smack in the middle of town and you can get to anywhere from here; I don't have to make frantic descriptions to cabs before they locate it. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, there's free and very fast WiFi (very important!) and the food is great. The staff are courteous and always willing to help.

During my last visit, there was this persistent pounding from the floor above which took repeated phone calls to a very lackadaisical person at the front desk to resolve. But that hasn't happened before and they were very apologetic.

I would recommend this hotel any day...they're consistent in the service!

Good hotel but can be a lot more
Pros:

Was a really good hotel but attention to details were ignored. Could be a 4•5 star hotel but will have to settle for 3•5.
Stayed at the suite and expected more from the shower and the bathroom but it was just ordinary. Other than that, everything was fine

Decent
Pros:

After a major disappointment with Hotel de Horizon we ended up here and what a relief -it was clean and the rooms were refreshingly cosy.
The food was good...but the restaurant is so tiny so when the hotel is busy you'll be lucky to get a table at breakfast.
I would definitely go back.
