A Fantastic Hotel!
Pros:

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Monte Cenci for four nights and were very pleased with our experience. It’s a striking, charming boutique hotel and a wise recommendation from our independent travel operator (Ciao’ Italy Tours).

Our room exceeded our expectations. While the building is historically old, the interior is beautifully decorated and looks brand new. Our room was meticulously kept for our entire stay. I was thinking that the plumbing and water pressure would be less than ideal but it was just the opposite.

The location is exceptional and because it was in a central area, the start of side trips and excursions allowed us to be picked up and transported to their start in very little time. We were at the Vatican, Coliseum, and Forum, all within walking distance. Four ancient bridges were minutes away.

The breakfast offering and dining area are fantastic. There’s a great variety of healthy food and a very attentive staff. Simon at the Front Desk is a special person. He’s a great conversationalist and was eager to help us every day.

We highly recommend the Hotel Monte Cenci. Best wishes for their continued success!

Pros:

Cons:

מחיר גבוה מאוד

Podría mejorar
Pros:

Ubicación maravillosa
Amabilidad del personal, muy destacable
La decoración de las habitaciones
La pasticceria del desayuno

Cons:

El aire acondicionado no lo pudieron arreglar durante los 5 días de mi estadía ;
Calidad precio no buena

Amazing Hotel in Rome
Pros:

We would definitely stay here again on our next trip. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The gentleman at breakfast was especially nice as well as the front desk personnel.
It was a great trip looking forward to returning! The rooms were amazing as well. We had a very nice room with a little patio to sit out and enjoy our stay! Amazing.

Perfect Romantic Spot
Pros:

We recently celebrated our twentieth wedding anniversary by spending eight nights at this hotel! In regards to location, it was extremely easy to access Trastevere across the bridge to the south as well as Centro Storico to the north. The location next to the Jewish Ghetto provided a unique opportunity to explore some of Rome’s lesser known heritage and cuisine. Of special interest to cat lovers, Largo di Torre Argentina Cat Sanctuary is less than a half mile up the road from the hotel. Having a supermarket across the street as well as a plethora of shops and kiosks within a quarter mile radius made it easy to obtain beverages, snacks, and sundries. Compared to previous trips to Rome, this was definitely the most pedestrian-friendly hotel we have encountered.

Within the hotel itself, the staff were exemplary on a multitude of levels. For example, they learned our beverage preferences within a few days (but always checked rather than assuming), went to great lengths to help us obtain French’s Yellow Mustard (Castroni’s on Via del Corso), had recommendations for every activity we inquired about (AS Roma vs Atalanta), and assisted us with obtaining dinner reservations long distance even before we arrived. On top of that, all the staff were friendly, professional, and struck the perfect note of helpful at every turn.

The hotel itself is converted from an older building. While there is a two person elevator, there are multiple stairs to tread prior to reaching the elevator. The decor is classic and elegant, and the room was everything we could have needed. From individual climate control that worked flawlessly and powerfully to the amazing bath tub with never-ending hot water, it was a wonderful place to relax after a day of sight seeing. The Rooftop Terrace was also a nice place to unwind. Housekeeping kept the room immaculate. As always, the highest praise we can give is that next time we visit Rome, we will be staying here!

Lovely Hotel with a Dream Team
Pros:

I’ve traveled a lot around the world, and I’ve never encountered such a kind and genuinely helpful staff. And I mean the entire team: from the reception staff to the maintenance crew.
They truly made our trip.

Beyond that, the place is spotless and very comfortable for anyone who wants to come back to a cozy bed and a good shower at the end of a long day exploring Rome.

For observant Jewish guests: although we stayed during the week, we noticed that mechanical keys are available.
In addition, every morning the waiter brought us kosher croissants (I honestly have no idea how he knew... we didn’t expect it and hadn’t requested them in advance!).

And once again, thank you to the team, who were truly outstanding.
I recall the name of Simone an Hussein who even made my daughter a tea before we left because she wasnt felling well, and David from the restaurant who gave an ecxelent service.
But all staff went out of their way to help.

Pros:

The room is spacious, clean and very well equipped, including the shower room, which has a walk-in shower. The service is excellent, from everyone and especially Danielle who is in charge and manages the dining room. He is amazing !The breakfast itself is good and quite sufficient, but it is not the strongest part of the hotel.
