Staff were lovely
Location a bit far out
Everything
The man in reception although very nice absolutely stunk of cigarettes
Ideal for what I needed, good buffet breakfast and friendly staff
Large double bed not very comfortable, however just an opinion
Breakfast and evening meal were 4 star plus.
Some of the furnishings were a little tired in the rooms, but overall this hotel provided good value for money.
Good food, with quality produce. Very friendly helpful staff. Good size room
The bed was too firm, needed a softer mattress
The location and facilities ticked all the boxes for us, myself and my wife stayed on business,we had a couple of drinks in the hotel,we then got a taxi into the town for drinks,we have previously stayed and eaten in the hotel, this was my 4th time 8 have stayed ,the gym and pool are perfect for me,each time I have stayed I have come away with the same opinion, nothing is any trouble all the staff are friendly and accommodating (arrived early a couple of times and both times been allowed to check in),in particular will on the bar and host for breakfast is a very polite helpful young man.
All in all a very nice stay
Little bit dated ,but didn't affect my stay everything clean(that's all that matters)
From start to finish an amazing place to stay, the staff all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble, will definitely stay again and recommend it!
Cannot fault it at all
Welcoming staff
Breakfast was amazing
Could do with a bit of an update in the rooms , such as wallpaper and bedding etc. water was charged for our stay and it was kept in a corridor near the reception. Would have been nice to have water in the room , free of charge
Noise from pipes and fridge
The leisure facilities were very good, breakfast was nice. Service was by a lovely young lady called Abbie. Lovely grounds.
Budget room was definitely budget! Decor was tired. Water pressure in the room was virtually non-existent, so showering or even filling the sink was a chore. Nice hotel but just needs some TLC.
The rooms were warm and comfortable. Staff were friendly.
The main public areas were cold and didn't make you want to sit there even the bar and restaurant was .
Which probably would stop guests from socialising.
Just got back from 2 night stay at penmere. Fabulous hotel, great rooms, very comfortable and clean.
Brilliant staff, couldn't have asked for more. Food (breakfast) also excellent.
Highly recommend . We will be back.
Swimming pool
Bit cold in the room as main heating knob was broken
Great value stay in a lovely location. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. We will stay again :)
All staff were helpful and friendly. Beautiful location. Grand public areas
Decor in rooms generally a bit 'tired'. Could do with a refurbishment. Shower cubicle small and shower head could not be adjusted downwards.
