Mattress was very uncomfortable, had seen better days.
Room was basic. Bed up against wall.
Room small.

Hotel is in a good area and overall is fairly modern however THE ROOMS ARE TINY!!!! The photos online make it look clean, modern and spacious however the rooms are getting old, worn out and are SO small. For context I am a slim 5ft 7 lady and in the shower the shower door was literally touching my nose it is that cramped. The sink is over the toilet too. The wardrobe only fits about 2 hangers of clothes and 1 pair of shoes. The beds are pushed against the wall and up to the wardrobe so one person has to get in first, and the windows are tiny. It felt claustrophobic.
If you’re a solo traveller you might get away with it for 1-2 nights but I wouldn’t recommend if you are a couple/family.
It’s a shame as the area is good and the hotel at one point will have been renovated to be modern but they have let it slip and squeezed far too many rooms in for the building size.
I have stayed at a variety of hotels including travelodge, premier inn, marriotts, Hilton’s, bed and breakfast houses etc so I have been at different standards but never had a room as small as this.
