It was nice to have a free breakfast, we always love that when we're traveling with our whole family for dance competitions and can save a bit of $. It was also nice to have the little store where we could get stuff that we forgot, or little things such as water so we didn't have to run to a gas station or Door Dash.
The gym was also nice to have, and the fact that there was a sign in there stating that we could go to the local Lifetime Fitness and get in for free/a reduced rate day pass.
-Location is great, convenient
It was also nice having a common area in our room (2-bedroom).
-1 bathroom for a 2 BR was rough
-This is on me, but I didn't realize each room had 1 DOUBLE bed. There are 6 people in our family, so that was a bit challenging. My son slept on the floor, my husband slept on the couch (which was like sleeping on a wooden board-no foam), and the other 4 of us had to cozy up in the double beds. We all slept terribly the entire weekend.
-The treadmills in the gym need calibrated. I am a regular gym-goer, and a speed i'd be sprinting at normally was a casual walking speed. I'd say each one is 2-3 mph off which is significant.
-The property is shared with a Fairfield Suites (?), which makes it incredibly confusing upon check-in, because there is no dedicated front door for this hotel. We got there late at night and circled the building multiple times. Increased signage, as well as possibly a dedicated front desk for each side would be really helpful.
The location was very nice. Having a kitchen and a large refrigerator was great. They seemed to have a good breakfast spread, although we didn't eat there. I like bacon a lot better than sausage.
I think the price was kind of high when comparing it to other nearby properties. For example, staying in Elk Grove Village the next night was much more reasonable.
Front desk employee (David) went out of his way to provide the perfect room for our group (7 girls and 2 adults) for 10 year old birthday. Room was perfect for us and the pool was awesome! Loved our stay

Housekeeping never cleaned the room, breakfast was mediocre and I was never told the incidental fee at check in and was surprised when the large amount came out of the account

Grandson, love the pool my other guest love the workout area. Now the negatives did not have a recycling bin in the room rug in the living room needs to be cleaned and the one chair in the living room needs to be replaced. Looks kinda old and tattered.

Amazing
The suites are great for family trips. Kitchenette comes equipped with some cookware and place settings for 4, which makes it easy to prepare meals rather than eating out 3 meals a day for your entire trip.
Hotel is clean and well kept, breakfast is decent, and there are various stores nearby for necessities if needed.
It's a *little* confusing when first arriving because TownePlace Suites is connected to, and on the back side of the Fairfield Inn. Both hotels share a common front desk, lobby, and facilities at the front, but only the sign for Fairfield Inn is on the front side of the building facing the main road.
Only complaint: you've got a 2 bedroom suite that can sleep 5, with 4 registered guests staying... You'd THINK it would make sense to stock it with a minimum of 4 sets of bath linen, maybe an extra roll of TP, but alas, no. Housekeeping leaves 2 washcloths, 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, one bath mat, and whatever partial roll of TP is already hanging on the wall. Every day of our stay, I had to go down to the front desk to get extra towels and washcloths, and every day, housekeeping would come in, pull out 4 used sets and leave 2 clean.
Kitchen could be updated as freezer not working well. Very small suite. Could be cleaned better
