So accomodating. Marion and a guy the following day made our room smell new and so clean. I highly recommend as it made me feel like home and so relaxed.

Somerset has always been my preference when I visit Alabang Manila for work. I've tried Crimson and Acacia but Somerset still feels like home as cringy as it sounds. I am very familiar with the Ascott group and have always preferred Ascott for Makati and BGC, Somerset however has exceptional staff, you are always felt welcomed. Security and service are outstanding, breakfast might not be as varied as others but a great nonetheless. Location is also perfect, close to 24 hours convenience stores, fast food and also the town center. I probably stayed there around 6 to 7 times now, everything is perfect every single time, no issues with the rooms and facilities, checking in or checking out or requesting for service.

Only issue is probably from the noise that comes from the event venue at the back, I cant really blame the hotel for that but the noise does travel into your rooms and can be quite loud, especially over the weekends when events may be back to back.

Even so, I will still choose to stay at the Somerset every single time.

Joanne kept the room spotless and always greeted with a smile!! The Filinvest Tent is across the road and an event was happening most nights in December. Loud thumping music was playing until 11:30pm-12am most nights. Although, not the fault of the hotel, not ideal for sleep..
Fantastic staff and service with easily accessible amenities (gym,pool restaurant) made the stay enjoyable.

Peaceful and very Cozy, feels like you're home..the Room attendant name Marion assigned for cleaning is so kind and helpful,he always assure our towels and blankets are new and fresh, thank you so much

The room attendant Marion made our stay very good. He checked with us every morning for laundry and what time we wanted the room cleaned. He made us feel very comfortable in our hotel stay.
It is a very well maintained Hotel with good food. The sourdough pizza was particularly good. I had an in-room massage that was very relaxing. We will be returning here next time we are in Alabang, Manila.

Staying in Somerset Alabang was a great experience! Good spread for the breakfast buffet and the staff were exceptional. Special shout out to Joanne who was really kind and cordial who made sure the room was speckless on a daily basis. Will definitely return.

I have been staying at Somerset Alabang on my business trips to Philippines for the last 8 years. The level of quality and standard of service has always remained high. Their staff in general are always very well trained and this trip is no different. A shout out especially to the housekeeper, Richel, this time as my apartment is always perfectly attended each day.

What a lovely hotel. Staff are so friendly. Big shout out to the bar staff - they were attentive, helpful and pretty amazing 😻.
The rooms are spacious, amenities in the room are great, huge water dispenser (very convenient), the bed is huge and so comfortable, towels are white and fluffy and you have dressing gowns that fit (!)
The pool area is lovely, towels available, comfy seating area inside and outside, lounges to chill out.
There’s a fabulous looking gym and a room for kiddies to play in.
Food has a Spanish theme, and is deliciously tasty. Breakfast is also amazing - and actually warm ! Which I’ve found difficult in other hotels.
Happy hour is the absolute best.
Location is superb - close to lots of great malls and restaurants.
I would definitely come back and stay again. Loved it
Only downside - not overly impressed with the spa.

I stayed here for 2 weeks while working in the region. It was my first time staying here and it won’t be my last. I think the gem for this place is the restaurant so I will review this separately. The restaurant is call the fiddle leaf and it is part of the black pig restaurant nearby (another favourite of mine in the area).
The hotel itself got 3 stars the restaurant 5 stars so averaged both to 4.
The reception like in the Bangkok Somerset were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. Any request and I had only 2, one being to get my safe fixed (took 3 times requesting to get it done) and the journey back to airport on leaving sorted. Everytime I was met with rudeness. Luckily I didn’t have to deal with reception too much so it was no an issue.
The bedroom cleaning very much depended on who cleaned it. Some days it looked like just the bed was made and the towels changed. I did end up with hives from the bed although I am unsure if it’s from the bed or the pool area (little bugs from the trees). In addition Saturday morning I was woken at 9:15am to be asked did I want my clothes cleaning. Bear in mind I was exhausted after traveling across from Ireland and then working all week I needed some rest at the weekend. So I was not happy about this.
The pool area was nice and it was lovely pre and post work being able to sit up there and have a drink in the restaurant overlooking the pool.
As for the restaurant; happy hour was absolutely brilliant I could sip away watching the sunset in the evenings. The food was excellent I couldn’t fault it, easy see the owner was the same as the best restaurant nearby the black pig (which I also visited on my trip). The staff were engaging and friendly every visit.
I will stay here again as it’s in a good central location. The biggest reason I will visit is I loved the restaurant area.

They upgraded our room for free which was nice. However the toilet in the room we got smelt of urine and the microwave wasn't working. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff were very friendly. Overall we had a good time.

Best 4 star hotel, the staffs are very kind and accomodating. The room was spacious and clean. Highly recommended and there gym was a family friendly you can see your nephews on the other side of the glass childrens playground

My family and I stayed at Somerset Alabang Manila last Christmas, together with my pet cat. The property has a great ambience, the lobby always smells good, and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and they had special gifts in the room during the Christmas celebration and for my pet cat. Can’t wait to come back and check in again!

Fiddle leaf has great food. Has a lot of quality and familiar flavors to choose from. Kudos to shar and shen for the attentive service!

I stayed here for one night and overall had a good experience. The breakfast selection was great—I especially enjoyed the danggit and dilis! The hotel is within walking distance of Festival Mall, and there are convenient fast food options like McDonald's and Jollibee nearby.

My only concern was the air conditioning—it wasn’t cooling the room enough.

Another summer, another staycation in Somerset Alabang. Again, the experience was impeccable and the staffs are in all smiles. Though we noticed that there are few faces at the reception and security, we still get that friendly atmosphere. One minor concern that we encountered was that the AC in our room is not that cold. We did not bother to report it as we just want to enjoy our stay and maybe our room faces the sun during that time (?) and also it was summer's scorching hot weather but we hope that AC's in the room should be checked before another guest occupies the room. Overall, it still an enjoyable stay.

Clean and spacious 1bdrm w/ kitchen. Kitchen was very useful. Festival mall is just a short walk.

Ascot bgc is way better
