Very nice accommodations!
Pros:

Convenient, I was able to park very close to the Hotel entry, and the room and breakfast were lovely.

Cons:

Most parking was a distance from hotel.

Room was Too Expensive!!
Pros:

Hotel was clean

Cons:

The price was extremely expensive. I have stayed at this hotel before and paid half of what I paid this time. Not sure if I'll be staying here anymore if the price is too high. Too bad hotels raise prices and take advantage of holidays, graduations, etc. I will most likely stay with family next time I'm in the bay area.

I can tolerate the parking, the rude staff. I can't tolerate bad Wifi connection. Won't be back.
Cons:

The wifi is terrible. We can't connect to internet most of the four days we were staying.
The staff's attitude at the front desk is very rude and not helpful.
We don't mind to pay for parking. But park at building and walked all the way back to the hotel. That is too much.

Great staff and clean rooms
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Place. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere made it easy to relax and feel at home. Definitely a great place to stay, and we would happily come back again!

Pros:

Accommodation from every aspect was delightful! Loved the bed and walk in shower! Even got given free water! Receptionist were so helpful!!

Stay at Hyatt House instead
Pros:

Needed improvement: Yoga mats in gym, front staff knowledge on elevators to cross train tracks, accessible composting/recycling at the hotel, clean tables at breakfast, sewing kits at front desk without needing to replenish, paper maps at front desk, ability to use pool or gym facilities at nearby Hyatt House, alacrity granting late checkout so one did not have to request multiple times and wait for answer and effectiveness in addressing noise complaints in middle of night.
My husband has the Hyatt credit card. We are both members. He was not traveling with me this time but we are very local Hyatt members and I asked for late checkout (typical 2pm) upon check-in. I was told 1pm and then called the next day and begrudgingly got 1:30pm after it was “extended” to 1pm. Maybe you should have ability to link rewards officially for families?
Front desk did not know if Emeryville composts. Said that if composting was in trash, it would be sorted by staff, which seemed highly sus. Clearly marked recycling, composting containers in common areas and rooms and actual recycling and composting would be helpful. Breakfast ran out of reusable cups so people used more disposable ones.
