They have everything u need to relax & enjoy your stay. The kitchenette in my room had everything I needed plus a community kitchen if u needed anything else. Popcorn is provided, ice & water, u can cook your own pizza. They have 2 Bar b que's outside. Lovely outside cooking area, pool, hot tub, plenty of lounge chairs, sitting area. Seriously, everything u need from bikes to movies. Can't wait to come back & stay longer!

No frills great value stay
Pros:

We had such a terrific time staying here as a couple that we forgot to take photos of the room, as we felt like we didn’t need to show an audience about what a hidden gem this place is.

Staff are so friendly, spacious room and a kitchenette, complimentary snacks and unlimited bottle water, ironing board, no frills and really clean and tidy. The staff also reached out personally to check on our whereabouts prior to arrival. Breakfast was simple and easy with bare essentials: fruit, muffins, bagels, cereal, juice, yoghurt, filter coffee and tea.

Free onsite and street parking! We really felt like it was great value for money post-Coachella period. Bbq facilities are also awesome and you can watch TV outside too.

It is a family friendly place that invites people to just take a step back, play a DVD and relax.

Cons:

No undercover or secure parking. Location is far from the main part of Palm Springs but we didn’t feel much of a need to leave the accomodation. Pollen from the trees were falling into the pool, and we visited on a 40°C weekend so the pool was also hot.

Relaxing desert oasis
Pros:

We loved everything about this property. It was so quaint and charming and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The staff is so attentive and hospitable making sure you enjoy your stay to the fullest. Rooms are clean and well appointed, morning breakfast and afternoon popcorn is a nice touch, and the outdoor pool area is also stocked with everything you need from floats, towels, sunscreen and cold water bottles. We also enjoyed all the hummingbirds on this beautiful property. We look forward to returning.

Pros:

The lady upon arrival was very sweet! I forgot her name but she was very kind. 24 hour pool.

Cons:

It was too far from down town. Perfect for older people. Housekeeping was washing the floor at 7am. I was woken up really fast since the rooms are right in front of it!

Our Favorite Place to Stay
Pros:

We have visited the Desert Riviera many times over many years. We keep coming back for the same reasons.

When you arrive, the staff are warm and welcoming. We are greeted by name and it feels like home. Yes, there has been a management change . But a constant leader is the Director of Operations, Misty, who has led the team so effectively with her warmth passion and sincerity for close to 15 years. The staff is simply the best ! Shout out to Corbin , Teri, Lynda , and Mike who are available and eager to help out and answer any questions. The head of housekeeping , Monica is amazing and the rooms are impeccably clean! And Leo, Lets just say, there is NOTHING this man can't fix- and always has a smile on his face while doing so.

One night the staff hosted a special authentic Mexican meal for us! Special thanks to Lynda, Leo, Sara, Luci and Reyna for the delicious feast! It was a lovely evening. As the sun was setting, the property lit up so magically. There is definitely no place we would rather be.

The extras are still here and much appreciated- welcoming snacks in your room upon arrival, fresh brewed starbucks coffee around the fire pit every morning, a continental breakfast, fresh popcorn passed around each afternoon, bottled water, bikes, pizza oven, BBQ's, movies and lots of pool floaties.

We have met life long friends at the DR. We are so grateful to have found the Desert Riviera which is why we come here three times a year from Canada.
Hope to see you around the fire pit sometime soon!
