Volta Hotel Akosombo

I love the hotel and the location!

The property is well out of town with no nearby amenities. However, the location has wonderful views of the dam and reservoir. Beyond that, everything was average and nothing noteworthy. The property definitely feels dated. The meal was good but not memorable.

It was a great experience at reasonable prices

Had to be moved to another room as a small water leak appeared to drop from the ceiling. It had been raining hard all night, however. Spacious seating areas and perfect view of the Akosombo dam. Food was excellent.

The room was not cleaned. Although the staff were friendly, but their service were poorly organized and very inconvenient. The view is amazing.

Property is located on a secluded hillside with spectacular views of the Akosombo Lake and Dam as well as garden and Mountain View’s. The staff were attentive and friendly. There is no fitness center(gym) or winery so they should be removed from the amenities. The front desk also did not accommodate a “welcome drink” as advertised.

The staff of the place, like today was in the bathroom when i came out a worker was sitting in my room while i haven't checked out yet. Sorry i am very disappointed and disrespectful...

A lot of furnishing needed replacement, the kitchenette did not have simple utensils like fork. The staff were so welcoming and nice

An older style hotel that is one of the friendliest places I have ever been to. I felt like family. The location has beautiful views of the lake and dam. It is a quiet, serene and lovely place to relax and enjoy the company of great people. Be sure to sign up for the cruise on the weekend...it's definitely a must.

The surrounding were very relaxing and the staff were super wonderful!

I loved the very unique architecture; it's built on the side of a mountain, with a great view of the Akosombo Dam. I love that it has to whole mountain side to itself, very serene and scenic. The staff were really helpful and responsive. It could use a few more aminities, such as a gym, but at that location, you can get all the exercise you want on the hills.

The scenery outside the rooms is super and refreshing.

It was my third stay in Volta Hotel with my family. I enjoyed it as much as I did the previous times: magnificient view, serene environment, very nice site, good facilities, warm welcome from the staff, good wifi improved from the previous times. My family and I shall come again. I definitely recommend Volta Hotel.
