地下鉄からも遠くなくさすが室町に面しているので
普段の人通りも多くお店もたくさんあり楽しめました。
あの街なかでのリーズナブルな金額は助かりました。朝食は和洋と選べるのがまた新鮮でした。

臨機応変な対応

I had an excellent experience staying at Hotel Kyoto Shijomuromachi. Of the hotels I stayed at during my Japan trip, this was one of the more enjoyable experiences.

The hotel offers comfortable accommodations with rooms that are fairly standard in size for a Japanese business hotel. I stayed in a single room equipped with a private bathroom and individually controlled air conditioning, which made for a comfortable stay.

The hotel also provides several convenient amenities, including coin-operated laundry facilities, a complimentary ice machine, and drink vending machines. These are particularly useful for travellers staying multiple nights.

What really stood out to me was the hospitality of the staff, especially the Japanese housekeeping team. I would like to give a special shout-out to the cleaning staff for being exceptionally courteous, considerate, and professional. I noticed how mindful they were of other hotel guests while carrying out their cleaning duties, making a genuine effort to minimize noise and disruptions. It’s a small detail, but one that I truly appreciated and that reflects their dedication to providing a pleasant experience for everyone.

One thing worth noting is that the hotel’s main entrance is locked later in the evening for security purposes. Be sure to carry your room key with you, as you’ll need it to access the building when returning late.

Lastly, they do accept luggage forward and do offer luggage forward service. However, you will have to scan the QR code and fill out the application yourself and then the front desk will print out the shipping label and ship it out for you. Please be mindful that if you are using the forwarding service, the cut-off time is in the afternoon and some locations take 2 business days to deliver.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay. The friendly and thoughtful staff, comfortable accommodations, and practical amenities made this a very positive experience.

午後3時から5時まで京都で会合があった。ついでに日曜日は滋賀県に出かけたいと思い、駐車場があり、earlyチェックインのできるホテルを探した。
立地も良く計画通りの旅程をこなすことができた。

スタッフの対応は良かったです。
困りごともいろいろ対応してくれていいホテルだなと思いました。

四条通り日興証券近くのビルに行きたいとの質問をしたが、大変親切に説明していただきました。
