River City Hotel

Overall the hotel was pretty good for the price, the staff were friendly and helpfull, the breakfast options were average and the bed was a little hard. The pool was good but wasn’t clean when we came to use it (they were cleaning it the day before) and limited supervision when we used the pool. Plenty of parking on site. Coffee and Restaurant options across the road plus a small convenience store on the corner.

No western breakfast

Most people are going to stay here for the pool and rooftop restaurant. Both were closed, so i would call before staying here. They say due to covid but i think its more due to they have no guests and dont want to maintain them. Other hotels in town have the pool and restaurants open. No one offered to bring our bags to room at checkin which is not normal. First day breakfast the bread was moldy. Kind of looks like since their number of guests have gone down due to covid they have kinda given up trying to be a legit hotel. Bathroom was a bit beat up and old.

Wir hatten das River City Hotel gewählt, da der Pool auf den Fotos sehr einladend aussah. Allerdings hing im Wasser ein Kabel von einer defekten Poollampe. Also haben wir lieber darauf verzichtet. Das Zimmer war ok, hatte jedoch die besten Zeiten hinter sich - wie im übrigen das ganze Hotel. Dies setzt sich leider auch beim Personal fort. Es fehlt etwas an Motivation - da wird lieber mit dem Mobiltelefon gespielt. Dies gilt sowohl für das Rezeptions-, sowohl für das Poolpersonal. Das Housekeeping verteilt an einem Tag 2 x Schampoo und am nächsten Tag 2 x Duschgel. Dafür nur 50% der Handtücher. Das Frühstück was gut, aber sorry, ich kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen.

Good value for money. Buffet breakfast was served cold.

Amazing view from rotating restaurant on top of hotel, unfortunately the food there is not very good. Rooms need more consistent maintenance to keep everything working. Buffet breakfast mediocre, since they don't turn on burners to keep food warm, it's mostly cold.

Checked in after a 12 hour drive. Very dark in hallway, room filthy, door lock not working. Complained to reception who said it was okay. Went to another hotel because it was unsafe.

central location. best swimming pool in Mukdahan. breakfast dreadfull.

チェックイン時にカードキーで部屋のドアがアンロックできないトラブル発生、ボーイがマネージャーを呼びに行き入室できるまで暑い廊下でかなりの時間待たされた。
部屋にセーフティボックスはありません。

Nice place to stay in Mukdahan... Close to Indochina market and to walk along the river... Bed mattress very firm, prefer a little softer, but only a minor issue... Overall very good

wifi did not work in the room. on check in I asked for 2 room keys as there were 2 guests in the room. they refused to give a second key until asked them to refund my payment and I will find another hotel. the stand in bath shower is an enormous safety issue and the plastic shower curtain a health hazzard
