It was okay I would stay again if it was done a little bit better
Pros:

Location and staff can’t fault either

Cons:

All around the skirting board was rather dirty had not been cleaned a lot of stains and I had no milk in my room so I was unable to have a hot drink

avoid room 5 in the summer.
Pros:

large bedroom and bathroom with fabulous towels. Staff very pleasent. Bar was welcoming.

Cons:

We stayed during the heatwave in room 5 This was very hot even with two fans going, this made sleeping very uncomfortable.The bathroom was almost at sauna temperatures. The staff did explain that they are unable to fit air con due to listing of building. Breakfast was poor, tea and coffee was individual sachets with an urn of hot water, even though there was a coffee machine behind the bar, limited continental breakfast.

Very comfortable room in a traditional pub close to the town centre.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast with many choices. You fill in a form with your selection and preferred time for breakfast, handing it in by 9pm the evening before. Hardly any waiting to be served as a result.

Cons:

The cups in the room are too small - mugs would be better.

Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned or decorated in decades. Broken blind in room, bathroom was so hot unreal ! Tv constantly losing signal, smallest tea and coffee cups I’ve ever seen. The continental breakfast no pastries lack of fresh fruit very poor .

Location is very good

Cons:

Room was not serviced when we asked. So when we got back in the evening there was no toilet roll (no spare when we arrived), no coffee, tea, milk, the bed not made and the small bin was full. We complained and got some replacements and an apology. The following day we didn't ask for a room service but got one.

Great location in the centre of the historic market town, just a short walk to the market, cathedral, shops. Very easy check in and check out process. Room as to be expected for the price, amenities all functional.
