Nice location and restaurants and friendly staff

My experience at the Pearl Hotel and Spa was deeply disappointing. I stayed in room 402 , and from the moment I stepped inside, I felt a sense of discomfort and gloom. The room felt outdated by decades, creating an eerie atmosphere reminiscent of a horror film. The floor was uncomfortably sticky and spongy, and the entire space was covered in dust and grime. Both the TV and AC unit were antiquated and seemed more suited for a museum than a functioning hotel room.

The bathroom was equally uninviting, with a stained mirror and a shower that fluctuated unpredictably between scalding hot and freezing cold. Comfort was impossible to find during the night due to a severe mosquito problem. Unfortunately, the staff offered no mosquito repellent, leaving me with the choice of hiding under the duvet or using the ancient, dusty AC unit that took hours to cool the room.

As a result, I was left sleepless, bitten, and regretting my decision to stay here. Overall, this hotel was a complete disappointment, and I would strongly recommend avoiding it. It’s not worth your money or your peace of mind.

I booked at Pearl hotel expecting an affordable, cozy spot for a quick getaway in one of the suite rooms in the Oasis building. Unfortunately, my stay was anything but pleasant. Here’s a summary of the issues we encountered from check-in to check-out.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff displayed little interest in assisting us. The receptionist barely acknowledged our presence, staying focused on her computer and showing visible annoyance. After a long wait, we finally received our room key, but without a hint of a warm greeting.

The room itself was an immediate disappointment. A stale, musty smell filled the air, suggesting it had been closed up for far too long. The carpet was stained, the furniture was dilapidated, and the walls bore scuff marks and mysterious stains. Most troubling of all was the bathroom, which was in a shocking state of neglect—mold covered the shower walls, and the toilet appeared unclean.

The bed was another ordeal. The mattress sagged in the middle, offering zero support, while the pillows were old, lumpy, and clearly overdue for replacement. Finding stray hairs on the sheets and crumbs at the foot of the bed only added to the discomfort. Sleep was impossible.

Though the hotel advertised free Wi-Fi and breakfast, neither met basic expectations. The Wi-Fi connection was unstable, disconnecting every few minutes. Breakfast consisted of a meager selection of stale pastries and lukewarm coffee.

Noise from neighboring rooms—loud conversations, blaring music, and slamming doors—persisted throughout the night, making it feel more like a chaotic dorm than a restful retreat.

A request for fresh towels and sheets went unanswered despite repeated calls. The staff’s dismissive attitude and lack of follow-through were frustrating.

As if all that wasn’t enough, we found bugs in the mattress, toilet, and even in our luggage.

I’m typically quite forgiving when it comes to accommodations, but this hotel failed on every level. Its lack of cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality made the experience miserable from beginning to end. I strongly advise against staying here unless you’re seeking a true travel horror story.

I am writing to express my disappointment following my recent stay at Pearl Hotel last Christmas. As a guest who has experienced both five-star and three-star accommodations in the past, I had certain expectations regarding the quality of service and amenities at a three-star hotel. Unfortunately, my stay at your hotel fell significantly short of even those basic expectations.

I had hoped for a comfortable and functional stay with clean, well-maintained facilities and decent service. However, I encountered several issues that made my experience far from pleasant: I was disappointed by the limited dining options available. The on-site restaurant lacked variety and the menu was basic, offering only a few simple meals. I had hoped for a more refined dining experience, especially given the price I paid for my stay. In-room dining was even more limited, with very few options available. The hotel felt dated and lacked the amenities and ambiance that I have come to expect, even from a three-star property. The pool was smaller than advertised, and the common areas were quite basic, with no special touches that could have enhanced the overall guest experience. It was clear that the hotel has not invested in making its public spaces or rooms more inviting. Given the level of service and amenities I experienced, I feel that Pearl Hotel is not living up to even the standard expectations for a three-star hotel. While I understand that a three-star hotel is not meant to offer luxury accommodations, I do expect certain basics, such as functional service, comfortable rooms, and adequate facilities, which were unfortunately lacking during my stay.

I trust that you will take this feedback seriously and take appropriate steps to improve the guest experience moving forward. I would appreciate a response to this complaint, as well as any steps being taken to address the issues raised.

The German restaurant is a great find. It’s one of the best in UAE. The chef takes personal care of diners and you will be spoilt for choice about what to order.

If not for stay, go for the amazing restaurant by the sea. Live music at night and fresh desserts!

Fun for family it's spa is fun food just wow. a pool shaped like a diamond 💎 little Bavaria's food is a experience a playground for kids oh can't forget a wonderful beach ⛱️...

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but after my experience at Barako, I felt it was necessary to warn others. We went there for a family dinner and were seated outside on the benches. Within minutes, we were swarmed by mosquitoes, which kept biting us relentlessly. It was so bad that we had to ask to be moved inside after just a short while.

To make matters worse, as we were trying to enjoy our meal indoors, we spotted cockroaches crawling around. As someone who works in the health industry, I was truly appalled. A clean and hygienic environment is essential in any food establishment, and this was far from it. Cockroaches are a serious health hazard, and it's alarming that the restaurant is allowing them to be so visible.

I would highly recommend that the management take immediate action to address these issues. Both pest control and proper maintenance of outdoor spaces should be a priority, as mosquitoes and cockroaches are not only unpleasant but can also carry diseases. We won’t be coming back, and I would advise others to think twice before dining here.

To the restaurant: Please take hygiene and customer comfort seriously. It’s 2024—there are no excuses for this kind of neglect.

All day dining restaurant staff was good very basic breakfast & try the dinner as well it was good.

I’m going to pearl since 2018 and I believe nothing change almost all the room furniture is very old and no maintenance at all the infinity pool was closed without any notice before the booking .3/10 really disappointed ….if the infinity pool is closed post that on the website and let the customer choose to stay or not

I recently stayed at the Pearl Hotel and Spa in their Oasis Building Suite for two days, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. While the hotel is generally well-regarded, the issues I encountered in my suite were disappointing.

Upon entering the suite, I noticed that the balcony was not properly maintained; it was dirty and had clearly not been cleaned before my arrival. There was crows everywhere and a cigarrete butts on the balcony. This took away from the enjoyment of the outdoor space, which was one of the main reasons I booked the suite. Additionally, the floors inside the suite were not thoroughly cleaned, leaving me with an overall sense of discomfort about the room's cleanliness.

During my stay, I also experienced delays with room cleaning services. Despite staying for two days, the room attendant was late in cleaning the room on both days. This lack of timely service was frustrating, as it disrupted my plans and left the room feeling less than fresh for most of my stay.

While I understand that every hotel can have off days, these issues were significant enough to impact my overall experience at the Pearl Hotel and Spa. I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these concerns to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Me along with my family spend a day on 15th of Aug and checked out on 16th . It was a very relaxing stay. We had booked a one bedroom suite room The rooms were quiet spacious and tidy. Front desk employees were really helpful and friendly during check in as well check out. My kids enjoyed the pool to the fullest.Morning breakfast from backwaters also was really nice . Overll it was a great experience for us and I would recommend Pearl to my friends who wish to have a relaxing stay away from the busy schedule

They ensured every detail of our room was perfect, from the crisp linens to the carefully arranged amenities. Their friendly demeanor and efficiency were truly commendable, making us feel pampered and well-cared for throughout our stay.

At the poolside, Eranda and Nuwan stood out with her vigilant eye and warm hospitality. They not only ensured the safety of all guests but also went above and beyond to provide assistance and ensure everyone's comfort. His knowledge of the facilities and willingness to offer recommendations for poolside relaxation added an extra layer of enjoyment to our experience.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Pearl Hotel and Spa for two days to celebrate my birthday, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The hotel exudes a comfy, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home from the moment you step in. While the rooms are a bit tired and oldish, they are clean and well-maintained, providing a charming, nostalgic vibe that adds to the overall experience. The hotel staff surprised us with a kind birthday cake gesture, which made our stay even more special. The property boasts two nice pools and a small beach area, perfect for relaxation. The food options are fantastic, including the Bavaria Garden Restaurant for delicious German cuisine, Barako Grill for authentic Filipino dishes, and an excellent Indian restaurant. The in-room dining options are also varied and tasty, ensuring you have plenty of choices without leaving the comfort of your room. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. We highly recommend Pearl Hotel and Spa for a cozy and welcoming getaway. 👌🏽💕🥰

As the work stresses in Dubai takes it's toll, my husband found this gorgeous, overlooking mangrove retreat. We have been coming every weekend for the last 8 weeks. Clicie, Croos, Alex, the ever-attentive pool lifeguards and the rest of the staff are 100% outstanding. With a lovely small beach, 2 very clean pools, 3 restaurants, 3 bars, exceptionally clean rooms, with great a/c - and the best booze shop in the UAE! I cannot recommend this place highly enough - love it 💙

Lovely experience! Hotel was clean, safe and quiet. AC was fresh and cold. Very lovely trip and friendly and helpful staff! We will come again. Bar and food was good too and breakfast catered well for veggies. Pool facilities are lovely and right next to a beach.

We had a great 2-night staycation at the Pearl Hotel and Spa with friends celebrating a birthday.

I cannot rave enough about this place, the people are friendly I love the old-school laid-back vibe.

The German restaurant is amazing and the Filipino band in the Filipino restaurant is honestly one of the best bands I have ever heard.

We had a fantastic stay and are already looking to book to come back again soon.

Overrated, photos on website totally different than reality “worse”, very small swimming pool with too much people in it “crowded”, smell of cooking is everywhere in the hotel indoor and outdoor, room’s furniture is too old. Breakfast was not fresh and tastes awful!

Hotel’s rate per night versus value is too much.

We, as a family, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pearl!! The room was very good with a private balcony, clean washroom and comfortable bed.
Our main highlight was the delicious food at Backwaters. Don’t miss out their breakfast buffet which definitely exceeded our expectations.
There are two pools ( one of which was very crowded) and a private beach as well. I wish there were more activities but maybe it was all closed due to Ramadan.We had planned to stay for two days but cut short by one day because there was nothing much to do there as such.
Just less than one hour away from Dubai, this place nestled in UAQ is a must visit for everyone to relax and rewind during the holidays!

A great place for a short staycation which is not very far from Dubai. Barako Grill restaurant is highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic filipino food. Pool was heated and working until 11 pm unlike other hotels. It’s not crowded on weekdays which I like.
