Big room, it is a happening place

Location is great. The porter and spa staff are very friendly.
Both our basins had big cracks in them. Hotel needs TLC. Only one lift worked and super slow 😂 so we only used the stairs.
It was clean and we really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with live piano player.
We really wanted a romantic night to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and asked for the best room available. However the room was very plain, the bed and pillows very uncomfortable and the TVs very old and crackly. We also wanted to order room service but there was very limited options forcing us to go downstairs to eat in the dining hall. We asked if there was anything that the hotel could offer to make the room special eg: rose petals or wine. They said the only thing they could offer was a bottle of champagne for an extra R400! When I asked if I could put some balloons in the room I was told they would do it but if anything happened to them its not their responsibility. Overall we just felt the staff couldn't care less about making our experience special. We wouldn't come back or recommend the hotel to anyone for a special occasion.
The staff were helpful and friendly, the views are good, buffet breakfast is great, normal menu is bit pricey, but the hotel has an art gallery great gym, pool outside and undercover parking which is great.
We booked a seaview room but when we got there it was facing to houses not beach, they say you have to call to confirm. But on the second day we moved to a twin room with seawview which was fab! There where very naoisy guests letting their kods run acreaming down the halls.

Set up was different with mountain and sea views. The staff was warm and friendly. Had a pleasant time. Breakfast was very good.
Locals have access by freely walking pass the hotel to go to the jetty to fish. Did not give the hotel a decent appearance.

The underground parking space needs to be more well lit up. While there is a security guard, it is still quite dark and feels a little u safe.
The room was clean and the staff very friendly. The breakfast exceeded our expectation.
The seating arrangements for a couple. Most seating arrangements were for 4 or more people. The underground parking is not well lit and seems unsafe.
