Pros:

Room 310 has a lovely view of the bay and mountains.

Cons:

The shower water floods the bathroom because the floor does not slope towards the outlet.
The cheap thin plastic toilet seat moves sideways. Dangerous.

I wouldn't go back.
Pros:

Well, the beds were comfortable.

Cons:

The service from reception was not nice and we were supposed to have breakfast which was part of what we paid for but it was not provided to us and the cleaners make a lot of noise in the hallways.

Krystal Beach hotel getaway
Pros:

We always enjoy staying at Krystal Beach hotel. The niggles we experienced on this stay and some recurring from previous stays were:
+ The TV reception which we had on a previous stay as well.
+ We were placed in a room by the lifts so it was noisy. I would move next time.
+ The window was making a knocking sound from the wind which kept us awake.
+ The bedside phone display is really bright so you'll probably want to cover it at night.
+ The shower always leaks out into the bathroom.

Krystal Beach Hotel stay
Pros:

The location is great in that you don't need to leave the place. The waterfront with the restaurants that the hotel leads out to a great option for lunch/dinner/sundowners.

Cons:

Poor TV reception. This is the second or third time staying there that we had the issue.
We were also allocated a room right by the elevators so there was a lot of noise from the ground floor area and music. We wouldn't stay in one of those rooms again.
The display on the bedside phone is also really bright so we had to cover it.

Krystal beach hotel
Pros:

The staycwas nice. But we had aa few problems in the room. We hope to stay in a room where you can just relax and don't have to worry about anything. But unfortunately we had to wipe up the floor every time we shower because the shower leaked. The toilet did not flush away everything and so we had to go down stair abd used the toilets there. The bed made so much noise when laying on it that we did not get good sleep becauae you to scared to turn around that you will wake up your partner. But the staff was friedly the food was good.

Sudden getaway
Pros:

We decided on a last minute weekend getaway from Friday afternoon to Sunday. We received an immediate upgrade from a single room to a suite which is exactly what we wanted. It was our 3rd stay at KB because we just love the magnificent breakfast buffet -probably one of the best anywhere in Cape Town.

We came to chill out and relax and that is exactly what we could do at KB

Position, views, parking, rooms, corridors, but most of all the breakfast

Great stay but room for improvement
Pros:

Location, the view, the overall service ,the gym. Close to shops, beach and very peacefull

Cons:

Not as many halaal options , breakfast arrangement is average. The bed is not so comfortable, the interior of the room is average. Dirty stains on the dining table in the bedroom upon arrival. One room key provided (we were two guests) and the towels are not good quality.
