Pillows were not firm.
Mattress was terrible.
And it needs to be pushed up against the headboard or else pillows fall inbetween the mattress and headboard.
Carpets or something needs to be changed in the hallway walking towards rooms as there is this stuffy odour .
Location and staff
First hotel room (501) had leak from the bathroom and the bathroom didn't smell clean. The shower had very distinct urine smell. We then informed staff and moved to room 267 which were more noisy and the shower also had urine smell. The fact that none of the 2 rooms had a Smart TV meant that we couldn't get to watch sports (Wimbledon, Rugby, Soccer) which was disappointing.

O hotel é maravilhoso e tem uma atmosfera realmente incrível. As refeições, o quarto e todo o ambiente parecem saídos de um filme, de tão bonitos e bem cuidados. Além disso, a localização é muito boa e, no geral, a experiência foi excelente.
O principal ponto negativo foi a internet, que não funcionou bem na maioria dos dias. Além disso, a TV não é smart e tem poucos canais, o que pode incomodar em uma estadia mais longa. Recomendo muito para lazer, mas para quem precisa trabalhar durante a viagem, talvez não seja a melhor escolha.
Easy access to Monte casino and pretty gardens
The WiFi was bad and I had work to do,I felt for the price you should have access to Netflix like a lot of other hotels offer. The satellite didn’t offer many channels. I had a very scary incident with the hairdryer that had been damaged and had exposed wires and when I switched it on it sparked and flames and sparks came out and almost caught fire to the carpet and blew out the tv and the wall plug sparked and shot out flame.I told the hotel and they didn’t offer a discount or seem to care very much.
The staff were swift to answer the requests online via the chat
The guest indicated that the room was ice cold on arrival and immediately made the entry to the stay unpleasant
Additionally, for the amount of money spent at your establishment, versus the other establishments we have used and paid for, a still water and biltong request was going to be charged to us. Other establishment have included small snack requests.
The staff and location
Maybe think about updating furniture etc. Bed really needs to be replaced, as well as carpet needs a proper clean or replacement. A lot of scratches and dents everywhere in room. Would be fine if I was paying less but for that price I want 5 star not 3
Impressive building based on old Italian style
Lovely ground, staff friendly small but functional gym. Had breakfast in room on first day, very small portions advise anyone not to do it as you cannot go back for more like at the buffet! However very nice.
Room was on lower floor with doors opening into the garden with small patio and seating.
Nice bird park right next door.
Only there 2 days saw they did high tea and had time befor going to airport. Went to book day before to be told needed 48hrs notice!
Room very tired looking tv channels very limited unless you like sport. Room right opposite dining area so couldn't really have curtains open as could be seen from there.
