The breakfast was fantastic
the bathroom door, the barn door looks great, but I didn't like the gap all the way around it.
The location is near our family so we stay here often. The breakfast is ok. Rooms are ok.
The Desk reports issues with login, reservations, and errors. This issue started around 3:30 when we were checking in. They were able to manually assign a room after about 45 min of waiting. The main issue i had was the front desk called the room after 10 pm when we were sleeping requesting me to come to the front desk to complete paper work to check in.
The coffee the last two times we have been there in the evenings is cold and stale.
the rooms and lobby is starting to show age with little details like shelf on wall in room was hanging down, the elevator button plate was cracked and it has been that way for awhile.

My wife & I recently visited for a family gathering. When reserving our stay here I had inadvertently put in the wrong dates. The front desk manager, Bridget Jones, was quick to assure us that first she could get us a room & then got to work trying to correct my mistake. When it became apparent to her she would need assistance in doing so she immediately enlisted the help of Mike Jackson (the general manager) & together they contacted Hilton & were able to get us a refund for the errant dates & a room for the correct dates. After driving 7 hours it was a huge relief! In my opinion they both demonstrated customer service above & beyond & we were beyond grateful. The room itself was exceptional, very comfortable & extremely clean. However, there are many hotels that offer nice rooms, the difference at the Hampton Lockport is the people who operate it. They have a sign at the front door that states, “Making our customers happy, makes us happy” this was so evident through the actions of Mike & Bridget. I would rate them higher than 5 star if I could.
Hotel is overall pretty emblematic of the brand. Slept well and good TV set up easy to stream online. Front desk staff were helpful and efficient. There are many EV chargers in the parking lot too. Biggest issue was noise it got boisterous in the lobby and after 10pm in the corridors. Also was somewhat disappointed about the breakfast quality. Coffee was not good, nor eggs. The curtain also couldn't fully close due to the radiator which let in light from the parking lot.
