Hotel was in a really great location close to subway. Room was very nice and quiet. Also enjoyed the heated pool and steam room.
It was my son’s birthday the staff left a special note and chocolate in the room.
Good location, basic double rooms in attic space, need to bend to get into bed, draughty window, quite a small space. Room, bathroom very clean.
For peace of mind booked a taxi back to the airport via hotel, 75 euros fixed price. Was charged 89euros. Contacted hotel to report as didn’t want others to be taken advantage of like we felt we were, to date they haven’t bothered to reply. Very disappointing!
Overall We were very satisfied with our stay. Nice friendly staff, fantastic pool where to relax after a long day strolling through the streets of Paris. Excellent breakfast unless you want the big buffet. Location excellent close to Metro, RER train and walking distance to Notre Dame and Ile de la Cité, and nice restaurants on Boulevard St. Michele and Rue St. Jaques.
Quiet and no disturbing noises from street or other rooms.
On the negative side, the standard rooms for two persons are extremely small and do not correspond to the price. Too expensive for a tiny room. There is not at regular closet, if you bring suits or robes there is hardly any place to hang them. No place to put two standard size suitcases. Hardly any place to hang your coats if you visit Paris in autumn or winter.
Breakfast OK, but only one slow coffee machine.
For sure I will consider staying again, but will research other alternatives with regards to room size/price
An incredible stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff were so friendly, especially Saba the bar manager. The hotel was spotless and is a great location, close walk to lots of restaurants and bars. Thank you, we will definitely be back.
Amazing hotel, the service from front desk to bar to restaurant was top notch!
They were able to take our luggage as we arrived at 8am while we searched for a place to nap...
- The rooms were on the small side but very comfortable, and clean.
- The spa area is amazing pool nice and clean.
- There are many amazing restaurants, and the hotel is within walking distance of almost all attractions.
- The atmosphere is relaxed and classy
- We enjoyed out evenings sitting in the common area drinking wine and playing cards
Highly recommend
Beautifully decorated, recently renovated hotel with a nice spa and cosy but comfortable rooms. Service was great and the location was ideal for evening dining out and bars. Close to some major attractions and public transport. I would stay at this hotel again!
My wife and I spent a week at this hotel, and we loved just about every minute. Our twin room was plenty comfortable, the entire hotel is impeccably clean and elegantly decorated. The bar in particular is fabulous, and the bartender friendly. The pool and steam room were relaxing, and a great reward for a day of sightseeing. With the exception of neighbors who allowed their doors to slam shut (perhaps a maintenance issue, our door closed with only a slight click), this is an exceedingly quiet hotel.
The breakfast was typical of better Parisian hotels, but well maintained and worth the price, IMO. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant, helpful, and patient with my very poor language skills. The few things that weren't right were quickly addressed: the TV's internet connection was inoperable, and the gentleman sent to fix it was genial and competent. We encountered him several other times during our stay -- he recognized us, always greeted us with a smile, and asked if everything was still working. I wish I had caught his name so I could call him out specifically.
If you're a Left Bank person, the location can't be beat -- close to everything this side of Paris has to offer. Rue Cujas is currently (Oct 2025) being dug up for landscaping, and the finished product should be a great improvement. The lower end of Rue de Tournon may provide a preview of the finished product.
Forty years ago I stayed next door in the Hotel Cujas (now French Theory). For less than $8/night I enjoyed a small room on the 4th floor, no elevator, no a/c, no private shower or toilet. Times have changed -- for the better! Our next visit to Paris will definitely include a stay at the Hotel Grand Coeur Latin.
Disappointed by level of hotel, logistics (keys not working again and again, mix up with my room number which took long too sort out), and rude staff. Not mandatory to be pleasant but sheer rudeness by two staff members is surprising.
A nice, well-located hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. That said, we were disappointed that the staff communicated in a way that I view as dishonest about ongoing construction. We were told the construction would be completed by August and then staff chose not to follow up. They did offer free breakfast as compensation, but
Excellent, lovely staff, helpful.
Areas was great and the hotel was newly renovated. Rooms and property were clean, neat and well appointed. Good size for a room in paris
Clean and new rooms, great location, friendly stuff
Brand new. Clean, quiet. Great location. Not plush fancy but very nice. Sidewalk in front of hotel still under construction so you have to carry your bags from the curb a street away across rock stubble (not horrible but you can't drive us (yet) to the door. Staff amazingly kind. We had a suite which was lovely and plenty big - huge (only room left so we took it). The street is very quiet now obviously as no traffic can pass in front given the construction and it's wedged in between other quiet enough streets. I liked the full doors on the shower so the water doesn't go all over the floor. There were water bottles in the room to use and refill easily. I would stay here again absolutely.
Only con was that the nightstand tables are metal and small - a bit too brutalist modern but okay. Also, there are metal bedside lamps over the nightstand (which jut out from the wall if I recall) that I hit my head on a few times. So if you need a lot of room to get in and out of bed, this may not be the hotel for you.
Great location except for some temporary road construction. Excellent staff.
Hotel staff were really friendly! Breakfast was great — not a large selection, but everything was delicate and well-prepared. We stayed in a superior twin room. We thought it would be larger than the standard twin, but the extra space turned out to be just a long hallway between the beds and the bathroom. The bedding area itself looked no different from the standard twin room. We had a great time staying there.
This was a very nice and updated hotel. The road outside the property is currently torn up and closed.
It might be months before it is fully restored to function
Beautiful hotel
There was construction out in front of the hotel, but the inside of the hotel was super, and I loved the staff! Very friendly and nice!
Clean and newly refurbished modern hotel and bedroom, super comfortable bed, good size room & bathroom. Air conditioning good. Great area 15 minute walk from Notre Dame & 45 min walk from Eiffel Tower. Hotel is situated in Latin Quarter with many lovely shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. Hotel staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
Great location. Rooms and hotel were very clean, updated, very nice. Honestly the best bathroom showers in all of Italy and France!
