Nice overnight stay - but a bit hot
Pros:

Es war groß und sauber

Cons:

Das Apartment an sich war völlig in Ordnung und sauber. Gebucht haben wir es, weil ich leider krank geworden bin und wir einfach eine gemütliche Unterkunft für ein paar Nächte wollten.

Allerdings hat für uns das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überhaupt nicht gepasst. Wir haben fast 200 Euro pro Nacht bezahlt, was für Gallup unserer Meinung nach völlig überteuert ist. Der Ort selbst ist eher ein Durchreiseort und bietet kaum etwas, wodurch ein so hoher Preis schwer nachvollziehbar ist.

Zusätzlich gab es während unseres Aufenthalts keinen Reinigungsservice. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dass es sich um ein Motel handelt und deshalb keine Putzfrau kommt – egal, wie lange man bleibt. Für diesen Preis fanden wir das sehr enttäuschend. Zumal die Unterkunft optisch eher wie ein Hotel bzw. Suiten-Komplex wirkt und nicht wie ein klassisches Motel.

Insgesamt war die Unterkunft sauber und grundsätzlich okay, aber für den verlangten Preis deutlich zu teuer. Deshalb stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns leider nicht.

The staff were very kind and friendly. Room was very spacious and clean. Beds were firm, but I don’t mind firm mattresse

Right off the 40. Easy to get to. Fenced in.

Cons:

I understand that Gallup is a pretty low income area, and it’s a very convenient place to stay off of the 40, but it can feel sketchy. It backed up to an old canal that’s all dried up-it seems like that’s where a lot of homeless and drug addicts wonder. They didn’t come on to the property. I guess there is security that monitors at night. So it feels sketchy, but seems like no one bothers the cars in hotel parking lots.

Pros:

I would not be able to tell you...I did not stay there...My room was given away.

Cons:

You over booked rooms...my room was givin away to another party...there was no more rooms but website said you had alot more. I asked if i can get a different room for the same rate and they said no.

Restful place to stay in Gallup.
Pros:

The room was large and comfortable. The couch was nice ( my husband needs to get up at night and sit for a while. ) The bed was good, warm with comfortable pillows.
The breakfast was really good. Fresh (real!) scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit (including grapefruit!) and a toasted English muffin. The attendant toasted it for us exactly as we asked. Then after we sat in the dining area, they made sure to check on everyone to be sure everything was okay. Really a nice service. Actually all the staff at Marriot’s are great!!

Cons:

The curtain did not come down far enough to block the outside lights. And like most hotel rooms, the coffee maker in the room made horrible coffee. (We just went down to the lobby and got fresh coffee.)

That lotta burger was right outside and plus I had a problem with the room but was resolved within 5 mins with no hassle and very professional about it .

I didnt like that I wasn't able to spend more time there and enjoy the pool ...:(
