We waren (veel) te vroeg, maar er werd gecheckt of de kamer al klaar was en toen konden we inchecken. Altijd fijn als je een inspannend dagje fietsen achter de rug hebt.

Pros:

Reception staff were very welcoming. Very comfortable clean room with a beautiful river view.

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like was when we ordered a drink from the bar and the glass of prosecco was completely flat with no fizz at all.

Hotel was okay but not deluxe
Pros:

Friendly staff and the view

Cons:

For a deluxe double room,
It had 1 double bed and 1 single bed
No Air conditioner in room for extreme heat
No fridge or safe
For a resident with a small disability you go up in the lift to then have to climb downstairs

Not the experience I was expecting
Pros:

Situated in the town centre

Cons:

My room was apparently infested, I’m not sure with what. Within minutes of entering the room I noticed a welt on my right forearm. When I woke up the next day they were on my left forearm, ankle, right shoulder and jaw, areas that would likely be outside the covers while sleeping. When leaving the room I experienced no further issues so it was certainly the room. I showed the welts to the receptionist and she told me they would offer me another room. When she asked if I would like to speak to a manager I offered course said yes and was assured she would call me, which she never did. I was put in an upgraded room and suffered no further issues but I would never revisit this hotel. No compensation offered and no apologies from management. I am highly allergic to insect bites so not everyone would suffer the same but if you know you have this issue I would book at a more modern accommodation.
