Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. For example, when I asked if there was a communal fridge I could use, the landlady carried a spare fridge and put it in my room!
Overall I was very impressed by the place, considering the very reasonable price. A pleasant stay.

Great location and spectacular views of the beach and pier
Pros:

The owner was very welcoming and the location is great and easy to find. The views of the sea were spectacular and the room was very clean.

Cons:

Our room could do with a bit of updating. The rooms could also do with fans as the noise from the roundabout can be quite intrusive in the early hours of the morning.

Great location with an amazing view
Pros:

The location was perfect with a sea view. The price was spot on for what you get. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and warm. The whole place was clean. perfect for a spur of the moment stop over.

Cons:

The decor is dated which didn't give a great first impression but once we noticed how clean everything was, it sort of grew on us. It's kind of like sleeping over your Nans house but I think that added to the charm.

Can't understand how the 4star hotel rating works, as we both think it should be classed as a B and
Pros:

Breakfast was very nice and the location was also great. The room was attended to very well and the tea/coffee and sundries were all well supplied.

Cons:

We were surprised how small the bedroom was and in particular the en-suite, which was tiny. TV reception was poor in all channels.

Pros:

Extremely friendly and accommodating owners, great communication due to an issue on my end. Excellent location on the seafront, ample parking, spotlessly clean room with great sea view.

Cons:

Main road could be noisy at night if your a light sleeper, not the hotels fault obviously however something to consider when booking.

Pressure from shower is poor, this the only negative.
