Really lovely stay
Pros:

Fantastic location and a bit of a Coogee Icon. The newly refurbished Bay Hotel rooms are beautifully done- lovely view of the sea from the day bed.

Cons:

The hotel do well to fore warn about the noise and lack of a lift, but they are the only downsides

A perfect beachside stay with comfort and beautiful sunrise views.
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at Coogee Bay Hotel. The room was very spacious, with a very comfortable king-size bed that made it easy to relax after a day out.

The location is fantastic — directly across the road from beautiful Coogee Beach. One of the highlights of my stay was watching the sunrise over the ocean. It was absolutely amazing to simply walk across the road and experience such a beautiful start to the day.

The hotel also has a great bar and restaurant attached, where you can enjoy excellent food, good coffee, or a drink while looking out at the beach. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a wonderful beachside vibe.

Public transport is very convenient, with easy connections to the city, the harbour, and the airport. There are also plenty of nearby cafés and food options within walking distance.

Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you want comfort, a perfect beach location, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere. I would happily stay here again.

Location to beach is great and having a restaurant right on the premises was convenient. Could also easily walk to other restaurants in the area.

Cons:

The noise was expected but the big screen TV that flashed in the bedroom all night was not expected. Definitely need eye cover for sleep. Also the stairs were narrow and there were long halls between stairs so it was a hike to come and go from the bedroom. Luggage was difficult to navigate and there is no lift so beware

The room was over an air conditioning plant that sounded like a jet engine all night. Also smaller and less natural light than rooms we've had there before.

Pros:

Left my phone in the room and reception phoned my wife 3 times before she answered when we were at the airport. Managed to arrange an Uber to collect the phone and reception staff met the driver in the street, the phone was delivred to rhe airport neatly wrapped and secure to the airport terminal.
