First class - Novel, Charming, and Welcoming
Pros:

A fantastic example of a high end resort spa, with a keen focus on delivering excellent service. The private onsen was wonderful, and I'd book this hotel again just for that. The dinner and breakfast were truly first class, and left me wanting for nothing more, while still wishing it would never end. I would recommend this to anyone passing by as a one night stop-off during the winter, and imagine in the summer it's a stunning local environment for walks, attractions, and fishing.

Cons:

Nothing was wrong, and I'd feel rude to criticise any part of the resort given it's clearly targeted at the Japanese market not international traveler's like ourselves. The hotel is located close to the train station / railway line, but we never found noise an issue during our stay, and found the railway history on display interesting and novel.

10年海外旅行所遇到的最佳度假酒店。

位置绝佳，独占小沼景色。
老钱风格，绝佳住店享受。
餐食完美，堪比顿顿米其林。
可以私汤随时泡温泉，也很享受。
酒店的徒步活动超级值得，渡边先生的旅程非常有趣。

私汤外面的雪景很美，整个酒店很安逸

Cons:

因为时间问题我们没有直接到大沼公园的车，所以在大沼下的车。之前看到酒店的接送车只到函馆，所以就没有预定，但是其实都能接送。我们差不多走到酒店被工作人员看到接上车了，服务还是到位的

Fantastische ervaring.
Pros:

Personeel super attent, Het eten was geweldig. De muziek, de badruimtes, de omgeving… ver boven verwachting.

Cons:

Het bed was wat hard. Als enige, kleine punt van kritiek. Zal persoonlijk zijn.

It was a nice experience.
Pros:

We really enjoyed the bar and outdoor areas. The onsen was good and comfy. Oh, I have to mention that their bread in the restaurant was so good! The staff there are nice and friendly. We were so surprised by the prepared clothing and shoes for our kid. It's so welcoming.

Cons:

The towels in the room were a bit too old. I was a little disappointed that there was no special recognition of my birthday, which I had mentioned in my reservation. Usually, other hotels would write a card or a decorated dessert, which would have made the celebration feel more special.

Pros:

雖然很多年紀較大的員工，但是服務態度非常好，晚餐是法式，早餐是西式套餐，都很好吃。免費的貸切溫泉也不錯。

Cons:

唯一的缺點是露天溫泉小昆蟲較多，建議改變一下燈光的設計，應該可以讓驅光性的昆蟲不會聚集在溫泉池上方。

The food, the food, the food! Outstanding unbelievable level.

Cons:

The bed is hard and uncomfortable. I know the Japanese prefer that but for European customers a simple solution would be quality mattress toppers: more than one if necessary
