Travelodge Manchester Salford Quays

We had a brilliant stay and Izzy on the front desk was a fantastic help and very friendly 😀 we will definitely be back the next time we visit Salford Quay

Newly refurbished. Fairly basic, but nice and clean. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Excellent value for money!

I'm a repeat customer at this hotel. Hotel clean and rooms are a decent size. Staff are friendly and helpful. MetroLink station nearby giving good access to the city centre. It can fill up with Manchester United fans on a match day so not entirely perfect.

Minimal rooms but very clean and very good breakfast and receptionist Izzy is the best. I could borrow hairdryer easily at 11 pm

I recently stayed at the Salford Quays Travelodge, and a small initial issue with a non-functioning socket meant we were offered a room upgrade, as there were no similar rooms available. The Reception staff couldn’t;t have been more helpful, and the hotel itself is ideally sited with tram and bus links to Manchester and Media City in Salford Quays.

Just stayed here for one night. Very clean and had a good nights sleep
Breakfast was good value and the staff were all friendly and attentive. Shout out to Izzy who was particularly helpful.

The room had a very bad smell from the moment I walked in, and it made the whole stay uncomfortable. I couldn’t sleep properly because of it, and the room did not feel clean at all. I was really disappointed and would not recommend staying here.

Clean, lovely service and good breakfast

During our stay at Travelodge, we had the pleasure of being assisted by Izzy, and I felt it was important to highlight just how exceptional her service was.

From the moment we approached the desk, Izzy was incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely focused on helping us. She didn’t just answer our questions — she actively thought along with us and looked for the best possible solution to make our stay easier and more comfortable. That level of customer care is rare and deserves recognition.

What stood out most was her willingness to go the extra mile. Izzy remained calm, attentive, and solution-oriented throughout our interaction. You could clearly see that she takes pride in her work and truly cares about the experience of the guests she helps.

Thanks to her professionalism and dedication, what could have been a stressful situation turned into a very positive experience for us. Travelodge is fortunate to have someone like Izzy representing their team.

Excellent. Comfy quiet rooms, lovely friendly and welcoming staff, easy parking, great location for getting around on the trams, handy for the Lowry. Excellent breakfast buffet, nice restaurant, and even a great bar, too.

Izzy greeted us on our arrival, this lady was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and lovely... Food was ok,but the chips wasn't good ( oven chips ) Would definitely be staying again, our son is at University in Salford... The the staff were all sooo helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend this hotel....

I had a great stay at Salford Travelodge. Stayed 3 nights to visit my son at Salford Uni. Good location for transport links into Salford and M'cr. Comfy, clean room, nice breakfast. All staff were brilliant, super friendly and helpful. Special mention to Izzy on reception for her constant smile and friendly helpfulness, but honestly every member of staff was great (sadly didn't get their names to give them a mention). Will definitely stay again.

Check in-
Upon arrival, the amazing service from Izzy on reception needs commending. The attention to detail from this lady was second to none.
She made us feel very welcome going through everything we needed to know. Check in was so smooth. One of the smoothest experienced.
Room-
The room we chose was on the 6th floor. The views were lovely especially with Salford Quays and Manchester being lit at night. Very clean, comfortable and everything you need for a lovely night. Yes there was noise but that is to be expected and certainly cannot be helped. The only small critique and this does not by any means change our opinion of the hotel but with the room being on the 6th floor, heat rises and it was warm even with the window open.
A suggestion would be a fan in the rooms to use an option but again like I say this does not change the opinion of the hotel. Air conditioning is not something we would ever expect, if it is installed then this is a bonus.
Bar - After returning back to the hotel after our afternoon out, we stayed in the bar. Excellent service. The lady we was served by was covering from another site and wasnt sure where certain things were. We had a lovely chat while she was serving us. Credit to the company.
Breakfast -
One of the best breakfasts we have had at hotels. This beats hands down Premier Inn. The best produce, warm and very tasty. Constantly checked and refilled when needed. Everyone is catered for.
I believe we was greeted by 'David' the assistant manager, forgive me if I have your name wrong. So pleasant and so helpful.

I recently stayed at Travelodge in Manchester and had an absolutely fantastic experience.
During my four night stay, I did encounter a small issue. However, it was dealt with immediately in a calm, professional, and reassuring manner. It honestly couldn’t have been handled any better.
A special thank you to the lady at reception – I believe her name was Izzy or Lizzy (apologies if I’ve remembered incorrectly). She was incredibly professional, composed, and genuinely caring while doing her job. She made me feel valued as a guest and completely reassured throughout the situation.
Travelodge should be extremely proud to have a team member like her. She is the perfect example of what outstanding customer service looks like, and other hotels could truly learn from her approach.
