The area around the station is not very inspiring but convenient if a city centre location is not a priority.

NO fridge in the room
Nice hotel beside the train station. Friendly staff and some good coffee laces to eat nearby.
A little far from the city center, but walkable.
The location is great if you intend to use the station , or local buses . The room was quiet and comfortable to sleep in . There are two lifts which work efficiently . I was able to walk into the city centre , although it's a mile and a half , and there are a few convenient stores very close by to the hotel . If you decline the daily visit by the house keeping staff , you're rewarded with a £5.00 off token for use in the hotel's cafe .
Only a few small gripes with the hotel , and minor ones at that , are as follows ; the seat in the room is not all that comfortable . The reception on the TV was bad at times , and there were no cable channels . The onsite restaurant had a menu which was too restricted for me , as there only seemed to be pizzas as a hot choice . I did not dine there .
The Greek salad was phenomenal.
