A very easy, convenient stay for an overnight in Johannesburg
Fabulous. Best buffet breakfast! Lovely wine and cheese gathering at 5 pm. Highly recommend!!
Overnight stays while awaiting flights

Liked proximity to airport for overnight stay. Room was spacious and very nice. Also like the extensive buffet dinner available. All staff were friendly and most obliging.
All aspects suited us well for an overnight stop close to the airport. We enjoyed the extensive buffet dinner after a long day and found all staff so helpful and attentive.
Fine for an airport hotel
The staff in both the hotel and restaurant were great. But the lack of privacy while taking a shower is a poor design choice. Why add a solid glass window from the room to bathroom. When the bathroom light is on you have no privacy. Keep the wall solid. Other than that it is an enjoyable place too. Transportation to and from the airport is great.
The check in process was very poor. Staff very slow and not attentive. There was a large convention and they simply couldn’t cope with it. Took a long time to check in. The line up was very long. The hotel is very convenient for the airport. Completely messed up my evening dinner.
Close to airport but needed a shuttle bus to get here from the airport.Service was great and felt very safe,although didn't leave the premises. Gym and pool area was great
Southern Sun O.R. Tambo is a good place to stay overnight while waiting for flights. The shuttle bus service is excellent and easy to access, while the hotel itself is in good condition. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and they were happy to offer a late check-out and luggage storage service.
Nice place for a quick stay, near the airport definitely take the shuttle. Don’t try walking.

Staff members have been wonderful. Property is a bit older but has been refreshed and is clean and very nice. It has been a great “stop-over” while on our travels. My only complaint is that the a/c unit was very noisy. Otherwise a good value and good overall experience
