Meals were amazing
Reception staff very helpful

Cons:

Unfortunately unaware of works taking place within Hotel before booking. Also fire alarm set off during the works due to fire alarm to close to shower apparently at 6am

Exactly what we wanted, great location, views. Staff were fab.
Pros:

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. You were made to feel welcome and nothing was a bother. We had our dog, Dave with us so had a pet friendly room. The room was clean and views gorgeous. Tea and coffee restocked.
Got the bus to Whitehaven and even bus driver was friendly and helpful

Cons:

Only thing was the extractor fan in bathroom, made a horrible sound for a few seconds on and off, not a big deal though.

All in all a good weekend. In a good position for touring West Cumberland
Pros:

The location is good, but we know the area - used to live in Seascale.

Cons:

Illumination in the room was poor. Brighter lighting is need for old eyes like mine.

Pleasant hotel, rowdy guest.
Pros:

Stop here on a regular basis for work in the area, great location and pleasant staff. Rooms are to a good standard however could do with a little TLC in places.

Cons:

On this particular visit hotel was housing a wedding the day after and sleep was distributed throughout the night due to severe noise in the corridors of other guests partying. Should have been nipped in the bud by hotel porter but went on to the early hours 3/4am.
