the receptionist was very friendly

Cons:

It seems the only staff that was available was the receptionist who was handling everything, there was no one to take the bags to the room and even when checking out, facilities were very basic

Pros:

It was up 3 flights of stairs and there was no lift and I was expected to get my 84 year old mother and our suitcase up these.

Cons:

Full disclosure that it was upstairs and no lift. We went out for dinner and by the time we came back our parking spot was filled and there wasn't other parking close by.

This Place is very close to Waterfront and most of the restaurants . Very Close to Knysna head
Pros:

Staff in Russel hotel is very polite and friendly , Always ready to Help .
I really thank to Manager Busi for helping me out with nice family room . Very good Breakfast ( Veg and Non-Veg options) .

Over all good experience.
Pros:

Stay was good.
room was neat and clean. Location was also good.

Cons:

Serving staff not very warm welcoming and customer friendly in serving food . They declined the request to serve an additional toast for my kids.
Then we need to call the supervisor .
