Très très bel hôtel, emplacement parfait, chambre magnifique, très confortable, très bien équipée. Le bar et le restaurant sont aussi très bien. De la musique le soir, apéritif de bienvenue offert. Je recommande vivement.

Great hotel! Would stay again on future visits to Kilkenny!

We loved our stay at Kilkenny Hibernian Hotel! Front desk staff was very welcoming, as was the bartender for our welcome drinks and Guinness. Room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel was centrally located to explore Kilkenny.

Cons:

Pay parking, no A/C, and the banging of empty kegs early in the morning out our window.

Die Lage des Hotels mitten in Kilkenny ist perfekt für alle Aktivitäten in der Stadt. Das Zimmer war schön gross für 3 Personen. Das Frühstück sehr lecker man konnte aus sehr vielen Gerichten auswählen.

Cons:

Die Spühlung hörte sich nach dem spühlen für ca. 2 minuten an als würde im Zimmer ein Presslufthammer in Betrieb sein. Nicht ideal mitten in der Nacht.
Der Fahrstuhl war sehr sehr sehr langsam.

Perfectly situated hotel in Kilkenny
Pros:

The location is excellent. It is a short 15-minute walk from the train station and situated in the center of town, just steps away from Kilkenny Castle and a super short walk to Kytelers and Smithwicks. The hotel is a bit old but is very clean and attractive. Bed was very comfortable. You are given tickets for a welcome drink at the bar once you check in. We had our included breakfast the next morning at the restaurant where they had an assortment of fruit, breads and cereals, but were also given a menu from which you could order.

Cons:

I did not realize that there was no air conditioning in the room when I booked it. This is not an issue for me, but my husband "runs hot". There is a ceiling fan and desk fan in the room, if you like to use those.
