Looked like it was an old hotel or motel that was remodeled. Still Looked like it had some history to it while still getting an updated look. Has a coziness to it.
The location could be better, especially with it being directly beside that store. Would be better if the TV had channels already in it instead of requiring me to use the roku apps and log into it. Is nice to go to a hotel and the TV already has Fox, NBC, and other regular channels ready to watch.
Very cute and clean
Everything Great
Good location, helpful staff
Very small room. No bedside tables. No lift.
free coffee and water
comfy bed
small room and i saw that they have bigger ones
Great location and clean
Too many dogs in the area
It was close to the cruise port and was not expensive
That it doesn’t have a elevator I was on the second floor and had to take 3 suitcase up the stairs
Great funky hotel in downtown Ling Beach just a couple of blocks to the water. The staff were incredible! 5 star.
The area was a little sketchy at night and early morning but that’s part of being downtown. I did mention to the front desk that the upper windows could have used room darkening shades. The security light was just outside of the window and it felt as if it was daylight at midnight. Easy remedy
I liked the fact that hotel is downtown and near restaurants and coffee shops. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable.
The hotel is largely inaccessible by car, so checking in was an issue. There is no place to pull up in front of the hotel. I had to illegally park and go inside. Before that I tried to text and call the hotel to get instructions about how to check in, but the front desk ignored me and I got no response. When I finally got to the front desk, the clerk was clueless about my attempts to contact them. Grrr!
The parking is a beat up lot that you have to walk to through a dirty, broken down alley. Not worth the $25 per day I had to pay.
The bathroom was tiny, with a sink so small I couldn't get my head over it when brushing my teeth or washing my face.
Also, the Thai restaurant across the street is very loud until late at night on the weekends.
I was by myself, in a fairly small room with a nice small bathroom, and the TV worked great while I hung out the afternoon that I was staying there. I was able to get a very good hotel rate through Booking.com. And it was right in the heart of downtown, which was excellent for being able to get around on foot to the places I wanted to go.
Also, I arrived a little bit before check-in time, but my room was ready, so they allowed me to be in my stay an hour and a half early. And I appreciated that they had a parking lot that I could park my car in for a small additional fee.
It was all good.
Close to everything
Rooms were small but very clean
Very helpful and pleasant, Jose made me feel welcome and cared for. Professional and caring environment -- very clean. Lots of little perks and surprises.
I'm excited to see the renovated kitchen when completed. Such a pleasure to see historic architecture preserved.
Clean. Comfortable bed. Close to yummy restaurants. Staff were kind and helpful.
Walk up to room kinda steep. Parking location (down alley and having to walk back).
This was such an amazing hotel. I love the security cameras, and the double doors made me and my husband feel really safe. We also enjoyed the fact that it was walking distance to a lot of food places, including Kings Fish House. 10 minutes walking up you’re gonna hit the beach as well.. this is a great place and their staff are super friendly.
Nothing to complain about.
