The community kitchen is the best for all including a large family like ours.
The free bike rentals
Plenty of restaurants in walking distance.
Some of the corners in the room could be a bit more clean.
The location is a huge plus. The hotel has been cleverly remodeled and updated. Staff is welcoming
I found no safe in the room. Walls are thin; there is street noise plus noise from adjacent rooms. There is no elevator, and stairs are steep.
It was quaint. Only used it to sleep did not stay to walk around. Cute room. Well stocked with things you would need for meals like utensils etc. the room did feel safe.
I did not feel real safe at night when I returned to sleep. There was a lady that just stood in the hall by my door and watched me.
The TV did not work.
We brought food to prepare and we were pleasantly surprised to find clean dishes, glasses, mugs and silverware in our room.
The only thing to be aware of is that there are no elevators and you must take the stairs if your room is on an upper floor.
Jose, at the front desk was friendly and gave us a warm welcome. He went out of his way to accommodate us by moving us to the 2nd floor so there were fewer stairs for us senior ladies to climb. He also gave us great recommendations for where to dine. And the warmth of everyone at this place was very enjoyable. We met other guests in the community kitchen where we went for our morning coffee. A microwave is also there. The rooms are small and cozy with comfortable queen bed and sparkling clean. Royal Hotel reminded me of the older hotels I stayed at in Paris. It is very Art Nouveau in its decor too. I recommend you stay here for the warm hospitality. Also a good location.(My apologies for not posting this sooner.)
Small room, yet worth staying here for hospitality, cleanliness, and how well the front desk people treated us. It has less glamour yet more European type hospitality.
Staff.\nWas very professional room was very clean.\nNice area felt very safe.Really enjoyed my staying looking forward to looking with hotel royal again and the new future
Nothing everything was perfect

The complimentary water.
Keyless entry

房間很大
For a 1 night stay the night before our cruise, it met our expectations. It was a short Uber ride to the cruise port and there were many restaurants to choose within a close walking distance.
I don't recall reading that there aren't any elevators; therefore, if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. We were on the 3 rd floor and carrying our luggage up all the flights of stairs was not an easy task.
Comfortable bed. Cosy room. Had everything I needed. Staff member on desk was excellent.
A lot of outside noise. I was surprised at how much noise came into the room. It was like there was no windows.
A large group of other guests were so loud in the hallway for well over an hour around 2am so there was no chance of sleeping.
I love staying here. The vibe and the atmosphere is perfect.
The only thing that I dislike, and is out of control of the hotel, is that this is a party area and it goes on late into the night and can still be quite loud out on the street even at 3am. I had a problem sleeping between cars speeding and people leaving the bars.
Posizione ottima
La camera era molto diversa dalle foto. Inoltre raccomando una maggiore attenzione alla pulizia
Comfortable bed. Cozy room.
Personally, the stairs.
Comfy and close to beach and restaurants. Check in was easy and quick. Liked access to bicycles and bottled water. Shampoo and soap provided in the shower. Front desk checked in with us after first night to make sure we had everything we needed.
Rugs need to be deep cleaned. Smelled like a horse stable every time we entered the building. No elevator. Had to lug our heavy bags up and down several flights of stairs before our cruise. Someone was doing construction during the day right outside our room. Wanted to take a quick afternoon nap before going out for the evening but it was too loud.
After realizing I left my sneakers in the room, I contacted the hotel 2 hours after check out to see if they would hold onto them so I could come back to get them. Took a week for them to get back to me and was told they didn’t find them. I know I left them there so someone either took them or threw them away, rather than contacting me to tell me I had forgotten them. Was disappointed to lose a pair of expensive sneakers.
