excelent and a really fab holiday
Pros:

The Anvaya Beach Resort is faboules, location is brilliant, staff are friendly and courteous. I took my family with us a total of 7 persons and 1 comment was, This is the best hotel they have ever stayed in both in Bali and Europe which to me was a brilliant comment in regards to this exceptional property.

Cons:

There was nothing not to like except maybe 9 nights were not enough

Superb!!
Pros:

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Anvaya Beach Resort Bali and cannot recommend it highly enough.

The resort itself is superb, with beautiful pools, fantastic food and drink selections, and a stunning beachfront location where the sunsets are simply breathtaking. Our room was comfortable, relaxing, immaculately clean and serviced daily to a very high standard.

What truly made our holiday special, however, was the exceptional staff. Ayin, Raymond, Harris, Soni, Made D, Putu D and Dewi are just a few of the amazing team members who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Nothing was ever too much trouble and their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our visit.

Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations and it is clear that the team takes great pride in creating a first-class guest experience.

Thank you to everyone at the Anvaya for such a fantastic holiday. We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next visit!

Anvaya Beach Resort
Pros:

My husband and I visited this resort as part of our anniversary celebrations. The resort proved to be all that I had expected and more. Our pool facing room was spacious and well planned. We had a premium room.
The only problem was that the cupboard and the WC were together. So the safe could not be opened if someone was in the loo! Also there was not enough light in the dressing area to check if my makeup was in place - the mirror was too far away for people of my age !
However, that is the only complaint. The staff is super efficient and always on top of things. Breakfast is excellent and superbly managed. Everyone is noticed and served no matter how far the table is from the main area. The pools are calm and well planned. Best of all - the resort is quiet! Definitely on my list of places to stay in and recommend!
The resort is in a bustling area with shops and eateries within walking distance.

An old Hotel with a facelift and tatty rooms
Pros:

Our flight was moved from tuesday afternoon to wednesday morning (7am) so we decided to leave our beautiful river front villa at the Samaya Ubud and have one night at the Anvaya. It was close to the airport and was owned by the same company as the samaya.

The hotel looks stunning when you arrive. The driveway and the reception are gorgeous. Check in went smoothly and we were "upgraded" to a premier room and offered a cake as it was my partners birthday.

On our way to our room the lift did not work. It took 4 goes before we could get the lift to go up.

Once we arrived in our room we noticed it was tiny and did not smell very nice.

When we unpacked we realised there was nowhere to put your clothes except in the bathroom.

When we looked around it became very apparent that this was a very old hotel that had been given a face lift. Whilst reception, pool areas (etc) were all stunning, the rooms were old and tired. There were stains on the floors, the cabinetry was damaged and it just was tatty.

It was also super noisy - you would be able to hear a pin drop in the hallway. We had constant people walking past and could hear everything they said.

We went down to the beach bar for a drink and it was lovely - albeit not well lit and very expensive.

The bed was wide but very short. My tall partner had to sleep with his feet sticking out. This is not something we have experienced before and was very unpleasant for him.

We had a 7am flight so we had to leave before 5am. We had ordered a breakfast box "to go" the night before. They had about 6 different options and they included coffee. I was impressed by this.

Overall i would say if you need a hotel near the airport for one night then this is ok although not really worth the cost. But I would not want to spend my whole holiday in a cramped and dated room.

We will not be back.

Lovely Hotel, Amazing staff, horrendous guests

The staff were amazing in every area of the hotel. Brealfast had a huge variety and many cook to order options

Cons:

unfortunately, outside of the hotels control, the hotel attracts groups of guests who were extremely rude, lacked consideration, disrespectful to staff and unhygeinic. we observed on several occassions guests touching food on the buffet to inspect, putting it back, then taking another option. openly coughing over the buffet, standing at the juice bar skulling 3 to 4 drinks while a line of people waited, these particular groups of guests shouting at and making honestly stupid demands of staff. their behaviour was disgusting. it wasnt just 1 single person or single group it was widespread. we then witnessed these same groups of people being horribly rude to the balinese in outisde restaurants and shops and having the same disrespect for the environment they did in the hotel. The hotel is lovely the staff are amazing and more so for having to put up with this, but this 1 thing will stop us from coming back.
