OK, But Not Located as Alleged
Pros:

I chose this hotel basically for three reasons: 1) price, 2) location, and 3) quality of room. Unfortunately, either the hotel or Expedia has so grossly misrepresented its location that if I knew where it was located, I would not have booked it. I just checked Expedia's website and it has it located approximately 800 meters northeast of downtown Pyin Oo Lwin (Purcell Tower), while in actual fact it's located approximately two kilometers southwest of downtown across from the entrance to Myanmar's War College on Sandar Road. This was not convenient for me at all. In fact, it led to a rather upsetting taxi ride from the train station to the hotel, as I kept directing the taxi driver, who wasn't familiar with its location, to the wrong location in town. The nearest restaurant was about a kilometer away (the hotel doesn't have one despite saying it does on the website, although it does serve breakfast) and it simply did not do for the type of visit I was planning. Since I had already paid for the room, I was stuck, and although my stay was otherwise pleasant, as I say, if I had known its true location, I would not have booked the room.
