Clean room. Tea, coffee available in room. Lovely air con in the heatwave. Receptionists were lovely.
The very busy gym and pool are next to the dining room, so a lot of people were coming in or leaving through the dining area, which was not restful at all.
The choice of food for dinner was very basic. Breakfast was really poor, really limited and not fresh - pastries were soggy, melon salad looked old, and no natural yoghurt for example.
The pools were nice, but far too busy, so I didn’t land up swimming.
It was a shame that the photos of the hotel and pool make a promise that the environment is really restful… it’s not!

Staff were the most miserable unhelpful bunch I've experienced to date and I stay in a lot of hotels. No smile...no welcome. Didn't add WiFi password or gate code to key card so had to walk all the way back to reception to get this and was due to attend a Teams meeting. I also have £50 debited to my card that has not been returned. Probably wouldn't return on the basis of the staff alone If you don't like your job....do something else!
I thought the room was nicely appointed, the setting is great, and the produce for breakfast was first rate

The check in experience was good, the receptionists were exceedingly helpful. They made sure the booking-in experience was efficient and we were not kept waiting longer than necessary.
The room was nice and comfortable and the bed was comfortable though I had trouble getting on the bed but that is because I am short not because of any short falls in the establishment.
We had a meal in the Warwick room on the first night. The waiter was great, 'Sam' was both helpful and knowledgable about his job and the product he was serving. Sam was actually one of the pluses to the stay. he was both friendly and professional. When I paid for the meal we wanted to give him a tip, but was told this was not aloud. Even though I thought he deserved it, especially as he made sure my partner got what he wanted for his breakfast on both days of our stay. Well done.
I thought the menu could reflect the hotel more. There were things we liked on the menu, however because it was a spa and health and lifestyle type hotel just thought the menu could have reflected it a bit more thats all. Otherwise no issues.
I think the booking process of the hotel could be clearer I thought I had paid for breakfast for two days. to be informed that I had not, and I always pay for breakfast when we go away, no matter how long we stay for. So this was poor on behalf of booking.com. I would like to be able to pay and book direct with the hotel.
