De persoonlijke benadering van het personeel, wat het hotel minder immens liet voelen dan het is. Leah, van guest relations, stelde zich voor als ons persoonlijk aanspreekpunt, is echt fantastisch. Ook het overige personeel is zeer behulpzaam, warm en vriendelijk.
Het ontbijt was heel massaal en ontzettend druk. De bediening was wel heel goed!

I understand you have the All Blacks staying there and security is more intense, but having to move the fence myself was a little irritating, especially when I have carrying a laptop and other things.
The property is located at a walking distance from V& A waterfront. There is a shuttle service every hour to and from the waterfront.
Beautiful lobby where snacks (nuts, popcorn, pretzels, etc) are served every afternoon.
The staff is fantastic, always ready to help with anything a guest needs or making arrangements for taxis, tours, restaurants reservations and such.
The breakfast is an elaborate affair from cereals to custom omelets and everything in between. A talented pianist provides a lovely ambience at breakfast and in the afternoon in the lobby.
The attached spa is a bonus and the professionals there take great care ti make the spa visit enjoyable

The location is superb with sufficient parking inside the building.
We had lunch at the Peachtree restutuarant within the hotel. It was a sunday buffet lunch.
The food was really tasty fresh and simply delightful. The wine list was fairly exclusive as you would expect of a 4 star hotel.
A lot more finess and training is required for the staff as they were simply not up to standard with simple fine dining etiquette. I asked on mumerous occasions to keep the drinks flowing, though I eventually had to take matters or bottles into my own hands. The water was in refillable bottles and I would have preffered a choice of bottled water for the table though this was not offered upfront.
Management lady was grumpy and staff muttering under their voices made us feel less welcome.
The service at the front desk reception was of a betterb standard and I was helped efficiently with my R300 parking bill for 6 cars. In other establishments this would have been complimentary considering the size of our party.
I make these points only to help the team to improve as the food was good enough to get them over the finish line. Noise levels were also good and the live pianist was really great.

This is my 3rd time in Cape Town and by far my best experience in the city so far. Apart from the cleanliness and great condition of the facilities, this hoteş has a special way of taking care of their guests. Special thanks to Veronica and Abubakr at the desk and the rest of the crew for their outstanding hospitality and support.

Shop around. Decent location but need to uber to most restaurants. Service is so friendly and welcoming. Rooms beautiful. That's it. Most uncomfortable beds. Stayed in places half the price that were more comfortable. Then at 1230 am could hear hallway noises. Two men in suits checking door handles randomly. Luckily, out kids' room was adjoining but I watch from peephole. Would stay again if price was competitive and best option but be mindful of these issues. Would give 4 stars but the 1230 doorknob check is a dealbreaker.
