My stay at Southern Sun Cape Sun was truly enjoyable. The staff were warm and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable.
The staff were always helpful and went the extra mile by assisting me with taking my car out of the basement parking, as it was too steep for me to manage with a manual vehicle.
One downside was the lack of warm water in the early mornings. When I wanted to shower before going to the gym at 6 a.m., there was no hot water available, and it only became warm after 7 a.m.
Additionally, the toilet in my room was leaking, which was inconvenient. There was also an unpleasant smell in the basement area that could be improved
Another issue was that the in-room refreshments (snacks, milk for coffee, and water) were only provided for two people, even though we were three, which was a bit inconvenient.

Crowded by many people of the city/ the city hustle. Although that is out of the hotels control.

Very warm welcome from the GM Ruan. Fantastic views of Table mountain from our room. Attentive and friendly staff. Onsite, secure underground parking was a bonus, as was free shuttle bus to the Waterfront. Good selection at breakfast in Riempies.
Looking forward to seeing the hotel after the upcoming refurbishment, a coffee machine in the room would be great (it did have a kettle etc.)
