Hospitality was great. I loved every moment. Access into the parking is not easy and they had a special beer.

If you're nostalgic about the 90s, when WiFi did not exist, this is your hotel.
The WiFi reception in most rooms switches from unbelievably terrible to unavailable.
Luckily it's located within walking distance or a short ride from many amenities so you can leave your zero-WiFi room & go experience & appreciate the outdoors like your ancestors once did.
The location is good, with malls and eateries around. It's within walking distance to the city Sightseeing Ticket Office (Bus Stop #5). There is a free shuttle bus to and from VA Waterfront every evening from 5-10pm.
The room is spacious, with complimentary sparkling apple juice, water, chocolates, tea and coffee, and cookies. The bed is comfortable.
The building and the interior/furniture look old. Only a rain shower is available in the bathroom so a shower cap is required if you don't plan to wash your hair. The pillows are too soft.
The shower seemed to run out of hot water on one of the nights. On another night, we experienced a momentary blackout and though power was restored after a few minutes, we continued to experience intermittent power outages throughout the night.
As this hotel is located in the city, traffic could be quite bad, especially in the mornings. Do cater time for your uber ride to arrive to pick you, especially if you are going to the airport.

Great hospitality, good size room, breakfast on Good Friday and Easter Monday was excellent.
Family rooms are given 2 bath towels only and you have to keep calling. teenage kids cannot share towels. Irons are broken. Opportunity to make gym bigger as most people want this facility.
