Please be aware that due to the town center location, this property can occasionally suffer from noise from traffic or people outside. The ground-floor bar is also sometimes host to live music on a Saturday, a Bank Holiday Sunday and Fridays throughout December, on an evening until 00:00 midnight. Although every care is taken to avoid it, noise can travel to the rooms. Complimentary ear plugs are available upon request.

Location and comfort.
Access door to Reception from rooms locked at night. I was not told. Could not get downstairs at 7am to get boiling water as a result, despite breakfast starting from 7am. Returned to room and phoned Reception but no response. Whilst I hadn't booked breakfast I did expect someone to be around in the morning for my early departure. I eventually found the alternative exit (but what if there'd been a fire)! Made my way out and walked past the main entrance. It was still in darkness and there were no visible staff around. This made me question the safety for guests in the property at night. Accessing the rooms is via different corridors on different levels. Egress would be difficult in an emergency, particularly if you are unaware of exit and the entrance door to all the rooms from Reception is locked. Otherwise clean and comfortable and friendly staff.

The room was very clean and it also had air conditioning which was an extra bonus considering how hot it was when we stayed.

Good location, comfortable and a great breakfast.
Foundry 34 was very clean and very well decorated. My room, although small was more than adequate for myself and with a modern bathroom and good shower.
I had dinner in the onsite restaurant which was extremely good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The property didn’t have a private car park but was situated close to a public car park which required payment to be made at 8am. Although I later discovered this could be easily done via the app.
My room would have benefitted by having a small chair as there was nowhere to sit other than the bed.
Staff were excellent and so accommodating. Made us feel so personally welcome. Just excellent.
the room, just for one. it was clean, tidy with a good size bathroom, the shower was excellent both in size and performance. Parking outside at 5pm with a free disc allows one hour free but you have to remember to move or fix at 8am in the morning. i did not dine but colleagues did and they found the menu broad and not too expensive
the many short staircases to the multi level bedrooms did tax the memory but were OK. Price for a single room was 'top end' of the range. car parking was a little difficult to sort so arriving early was beneficial.
Helpfulness and friendliness of staff was exceptional. As was the comfort of the bedroom.

I like the area, it's fairly quiet and easy to get to. Check in is a breeze.
The pillows i found uncomfortable.
The room was clean , had air con during the heat wave which was welcomed. All the facilities you need close to shops / bars etc. Didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked busy so probably nice food. The ease of check and self check out using the rear door when the restaurant was closed. Would stay again.
The noise from the youngsters in the street below as there is a night club around the corner

Table and chair would be nice but no room.
