Pros:

The property location was fine a short walk from the train station and staff friendly

Cons:

I booked a 3 night stay that cost over £900 and when we arrived got told we had no breakfast considering the price something I would have always booked but could of been a mistake on my end however after knowing I looked online to check the prices again , came up with £712 for 3 nights I then questioned this with the hotel to be told no room available but I did screen shot it as proof and then when I checked later that day all rooms had gone 🤔 I would just recommend you check as I would say it definitely was not worth £900 and the room was small and right next to the restaurant so smelt of food. Not pleasant

Supurb location!
Pros:

The sitting area that they have outside is perfect for a drink after you’ve been out sightseeing all day. The beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was really good with lots of options. Many restaurants around me. It was a little cooler than we expected, and the mall was practically across the street. Easy to pop in and get anything that you needed or forgot.

Pros:

The hotel was lovely overall.

Cons:

The bathrooms *almost* understand the concept of privacy, but the frosted glass wall and door don't do much for sound or visuals, especially blocking light. The sink is too small and awkward to wash off without getting water everywhere, and unnecessarily so as the space is quite nice.

Very quiet hotel with many facilities and great restaurant and bar service.
Pros:

Quiet hotel in a great location. Breakfast had many options. The hotel bar was well outfitted.

Cons:

The system was down when we arrived and management was acting frenzied. We had requested early check in, which they said they couldn't accommodate due to the system outage, which is fine, but they also mentioned that they gave others early check in for vague, strange reasons when pressed. Management did not ask our name when calling later in the day to ask for an update on early check-in, but claimed we had not put in a request early enough, which we contradicted because we put it in 3 months prior when booking. Overall, management needs to learn to be calm and clear in crisis. It's obvious we weren't important enough to prioritize and was interesting they made claims about our room status and stay requests without requesting our name.

Good location in Edinburgh
Pros:

Spacious room with a big bed. Nice breakfast buffet with efficient service. Hotel is well located to exploring the city.

Cons:

Coffee machine wasn't working and nothing was done about that. Some more follow up would have been helpful.
