Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chicago Schaumburg

Bed was hard..one and only trouble.

The location was good - close to many places.

It was clean the staff was amazing and my family and friends had a good time with no complaints

The woman that checked us in was very friendly. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was better than most hotels.

Upon check-in, I intended to reserve 3 rooms. I accidently reserved only 2 rooms at the special associate rate. The 2 rooms that I had reserved were at a special rate, and I asked the person at the front desk if there is any way to match the rate, or provide a discount of some sort to help with the cost of having to pay the regular rate for a 3rd room. He told me that there was no way of matching the rate, and that there was nothing that he can do to help with the cost. The associate was not particularly friendly, nor did he make me feel welcome in any way. Also, it would have been nice to have all 3 rooms near each other; instead we were on two different floors. Once again, the associate showed no empathy, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience.

Upon arriving in one of the rooms, the room was ok, but not great. There were no USB/charging slots any part of the room (such as the lamps, clock, desk, etc.). There was also a pair of dirty socks in the room. The snacks/sodas were not stocked in the lobby shop, and the only coffee offered was bold - no medium or light roast was available.

All in all, the pool was nice, the room ok (though dated, with so-so pillows), but the check-in experience and the overall hospitality was not very appealing.

Yelene was very helpful upon check in. Hotel was very quiet. Loved how close to shopping and eateries.

I like the close proximity to the mall and the continental breakfast. I also liked how close we were to the hotel and ice machine.

Pleasant, clean and quiet hotel. The beds were good, the bathrooms clean.

The room I booked wasn’t ready@3:30 check in. Given alternative room. Disappointing, however, while the room given was small, it was cozy, on the first floor, providing access to breakfast, amenities, and entrance and exits. Turned out to be very convenient. The staff the rest of the stay, the staff and guests were very nice, friendly and extremely attentive to all our needs and requests. My son who had his two young children with him, stated, it was the best experience he’s had in a while.

Phenomenal experience from beginning to end! We arrived after stopping at the wrong Fairfield (greeting experience were terrible by the front desk of the other Fairfield by the airport). Came to the Schaumburg location and was greeted by Yelena and David, and it was a day and night comparison. They were full smiles as we walked in welcomed us and greeted my family.

Very attentive to our request which was for a baby crib in our room. It was there within 15 minutes checking in. They asked each time if we were enjoying our stay. This has been the best customer service experience my family have had in a long time for sure.

Rooms were super clean as well and it was no hassle getting additional towels or wash clothes that were needed later in the stay. Complimentary breakfast had good options as well.

Yelena and David, please continue the great customer service and we will stay here again because of this phenomenal experience. Thank you Fairfield Schaumburg team!

Very clean and thorough. There was even a hand written welcome note in the room which is so rare but really exemplifies great service.
