We loved our stay! We've stayed at countless places across Nantucket over the years and this was the first that had us saying "we need to stay here again next year." John and his team are all wonderful. We loved having an early check-in, enjoyed the bar downstairs and the location can't be beat.

Great style and location. Staff all friendly and helpful.
Original room booked was smaller than expected and overlooking passers by. However they found us a more suitable room which was great. One plate at dinner (gnocchi) was very oversalted.
We were on the 3rd floor elevator was out. They were so kind to move us to a room on the first floor. Check in person was super sweet!!! I absolutely loved the room. It was so beautiful and comfortable.
Some unique features and furnishings.
For $800 a night I expect shampoo and conditioner vs being out of shampoo.

Fantastic, central location, right by the ferry. Coffee and muffins in the lobby is a good touch.
Design of the building is beautiful, good wifi, rooms are comfy. Gentleman in the lobby on check out was very friendly.
Restaurant and bar wasn’t open for 2 of the nights we stayed which wasn’t communicated to us.
Front desk staff weren’t the friendliest and it felt like we were bothering them with questions.
No information pack in the room about the hotel and facilities / restaurant or recommendations on the island.
As a warning, basement rooms you can hear everything going on in the bathroom above you and they call it the garden room but they are very dark.

We stayed on a Sunday & Monday and due to being out of season the bar and restaurant were closed in the hotel. But not a real problem as lots open nearby ☺️
Not the greatest and could be so much better. Staff not very welcoming or helpful. First night was spent in room above restaurant and bar - so no sleep. Walls are very thin so you can hear everything!! Decor is lovely and it’s in such a great location just a shame the staff and sleep don’t live up to the hype.
The friendly staff were helpful and there to help with any of your needs from the restaurant recommendations to providing great blueberry muffins. The location was convenient to everything that the island has to provide. Rooms are small but provide everything that you need to be comfortable. Very quaint.
