Breakfast was good
Location was just what we wanted
The hotel was quiet and very clean.Our room was nicely laid out and all the things we needed were all available.
Everything was good
This property is walking distance to the town. It was comfortable enough with a good breakfast.
Pillows were awful and need to be replaced. The manager or owner whoever she was, was ok but a bit unfriendly. Despite that we enjoyed our stay.

The Abbey Hotel is full of character, Natasha welcomed us on arrival and could not have been more helpful. The room we had in the main building was lovely, comfortable king size bed, fluffy robes and slippers were a nice touch. Walk-in shower. Ample off road parking. The breakfasts here are really filling and enjoyable, yoghurt, fresh fruit, bread for toast, and something cooked if you want it. Plus daily newspapers in the shared lounge area were well received.
Our room on the top floor was really hot due to recent weather, but there is a fan, black out blinds and plenty of windows.
The location was good to the brewery and town. Staff welcoming
