The best breakfast that we had in Costa Rica! Staff really friendly! The room was great, and the bathroom was great! It was a walking distance from the beach, around 10 minutes. We loved Nosara! Definitely will come back!

Pros:

Simple lodging in a clean, well-maintained and lush setting. Container cabin was small but comfortable and with good AC. Tiny pool. 5 minutes of dusty drive from the closest beach access, Baker.

I wish I could have liked the hotel, but the owner said we had a problem in our reservation on my way to Nosara from San Jose. He said I could not stay there in the first night I had reserved the room.

A lush and sustainable oasis in Nosara.
Pros:

The property is very serene and in a beautiful setting. Lush grounds that are well maintained, complete with outdoor restaurant, a lovely pool and an open air yoga studio. The staff are very helpful, kind, and responsive. The breakfasts were substantial, and consisted of fresh fruit, fresh juices, and your choice of breakfast entrée. Overall a great stay.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there was construction going on across the street, so a bit noisy once they started working. Oddly, the workers were not as loud as the howler monkeys nearby, so not really a complaint. Unfortunately, our mattress was a little old and saggy. The rooms are in modified shipping containers, which is a great use of materials. We stayed in one that housed two suites, so there were times when you could hear muffled sounds as they left in the morning.
