Would recommend - although still room for improvements.
Pros:

Great location for exploring Brecon. Having a gym and pool/spa onsite is a plus. Lovely food, friendly staff. Electric car charging. (Domestic)

Cons:

Minor repairs and maintenance need to be addressed. These thingsWoul make for a good score, rather than a great score.
The mattresses on the beds need an upgrade. Fully sprung and you will feel and hear it when you move. Coffee and Tea facilities in the room feel like an afterthought as elements needed were missing.

A delightful stay in lovely surroundings.
Pros:

Our room was great, spacious and clean on the ground floor. Only one or two additions would have completed the stay - would have been good to have a foldaway suitcase stand, a beaker in the bathroom and a soap dish in the shower. Breakfast was very good, perhaps some fruit would have been nice, if only prunes!!

Cons:

Nothing

Pros:

great room, nice food, excellent staff, good leisure facilities

Cons:

left a pair of expensive running shoes in the room on departure by accident, apparently housekeeping failed to find them, despite them being bright orange and the only thing in the bathroom, several phone calls and nothing, no phone calls or emails despite being told I would receive them. My fault entirely for leaving them, but definitely the hotel's fault for whoever serviced the room not owning up to finding them. This overshadowed a lovely one night stay, I should take better care of my stuff, hopefully they weren't thrown out, but someone gets a PB using them🤷

Great location and food but hotel needs a refurbishment
Pros:

The location was great and the staff were very good. It was clean and tidy everywhere with good food aswell.

Cons:

It is looking old and dated with lots of repairs needed and updates . Missing tiles and sharp edges in the jacuzzi actually make it dangerous to use ,pumps hardly working . All doorways and walls need a freshen up . We had a double room that was just two single beds pushed together making it uncomfortable and moving apart.
No shower in the room.

Working progress but showers should be a priority over everything.
Pros:

Great location and food fab. I just couldn’t understand why are 3 x twin rooms couldn’t have been at least on the same corridor considering how long in advance I booked it,

Cons:

Non existent showers in the room. Dirty and cheap public leisure centre style showers in the health suite too.

A hotel with great potential that is clearly being run badly, with poor oversight on cleanliness.
Pros:

The location was fabulous and the grounds were nice - decent surroundings and peaceful. Most of the staff were friendly and were all very helpful when we had questions. Free parking was nice and the bar section looked cosy. The pool was fantastic, the best bit of the whole place and the only bit that felt clean and tidy.

Cons:

Our booking stated that we would have a view and a bath. Our room faced a dirty flat roofed area with noisy kitchen extraction units running until 9pm, and had no view. There was also no bath, just a shower - the bathroom was grubby and dusty. We asked to change to a room that matched our booking and were told that it was an error on the booking and that they were fully booked and had no spare rooms. The breakfast was mediocre, with tough bacon and everything was over-salted. We were not keen to use the restaurant as we had originally planned, and ate in Brecon instead.
