Wonderful staff and food, but sleep was a struggle
Pros:

I was very happy with the location and the room itself was actually quite nice. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly, and the food in the restaurant was very good.

Cons:

The bed really let down the entire experience. The mattress was worn out and very uncomfortable, and the frame was so creaky that it made it impossible to get a good night's rest. In fact, we were so exhausted from the lack of sleep that we ended up leaving before breakfast. It’s a shame, as everything else was great, but the quality of the bed really overshadowed the stay.

Really great stay
Pros:

Really welcoming staff. Lovely comfortable bed. Good spa facilities.

Cons:

Interior decor was a bit dated and there were a few cobwebs in the dining room that needed a clean. Hot tub was nice but no one could figure out how to use it. Really good evening food. But vegetarian breakfast was not the best quality.

Convenient location for our plans.
Pros:

The leisure facilities were open until late evening. & the property was warm.

The receptionist was very polite and informative and was greeted with a friendly, happy spirit.

Cons:

The walls had evidence of damp running down them, Tiles missing from jacuzzi which was rather off putting and refrained from using.

we had a 1st floor bedroom and the floor boards were extremely squeaky which were frustrating.

Overall the property is crying out for investment/refurbishment

Sunday morning breakfast the waitress was extremely abrupt and had an attitude like she didn’t want to be there, she wasn’t very welcoming!.

Perfect location for trips to the Brecon Beacons
Pros:

After a long drive and a full day of hiking in the mountains it was a like heaven to get there take a bath and crash out. Id been travelling for a log time before checking in so skipped dinner and went for breakfast. Amazing food and great service. I do like a hotel with tea making facilities in the room, always a plus for me .I'll be back here again soon. .

Cons:

The room looked a bit dated but that wasn't a showstopper
