We love the Onsen, freeflow ramen & alcohol
Pros:

- The room size. It is huge for 2 persons.
- I like how they provide different sizes of Yukata (bathrobe) for us to choose.
- They serve freeflow ramen & alcohol during specific hours
- Both private onsen (cave & outdoor) are huge that can easily fit 1 family

We really love the hotel and would definately stay here again if we have the chance to go Shuzenji again. Highly recommended.

Cons:

- It is abit far from the bus station. I think about 13 mins walk with a slope leading from main road to the hotel.
- Howeverm the facilities and overall value provided more than compensate for this small drawback.

スタッフは一生懸命だが、施設が寒い。

スタッフが、一生懸命に対応してくれた。

Cons:

施設が古い。暖房が、かかっていないので、廊下が寒い。入浴施設まで、距離があった。廊下のクロスが、湿気で剥がれ、黒カビが生えていた。居室にお菓子がなかった。

Cons:

Location is bad and there are NO pickups from Shuzenji station. However the web site still said that pick up service available. So, we took taxi on both way.
Cost is 4000 yen extra. Not good.

満足度は普通な感じでした。が、次も利用するかといったら…考えてしまいます。
Pros:

ハッピーアワーやアイスのサービスなど楽しい企画があって楽しかったです。
スタッフの親切でよかったです。

Cons:

部屋から見える外の中庭？が汚かった。
フロント、部屋以外は節電なのは分かるが暗すぎる。
大浴場へ行く廊下は薄気味悪ささえ感じた。
大浴場の湯の温度が高すぎて熱く入ることが出来なかった。子どもなどは尚更なのではないかと思う。
温泉に来たのになんだかな…という感じでした。

Pros:

The hotel is wonderful which provides various type of onsen foc. The breakfast was warm and nice and staff are so helpful all the time as well.

Pros:

The traditional rooms with large windows and attached bathroom are amazingly spacious.The happy hour bonus (light food and drinks) is a welcome bonus.

Cons:

Although the room was XL, there were no sitting facilities, not even Japanese low chairs; you could only sit on the floor (tatamis). Why 2 bulky western beds in a traditional room? Another inconvenience is having to remove your shoes, under supervision, right at the entrance. The location is also not ideal for pedestrians, the hotel being located at the top of a steep incline.

Pros:

カニ、サイコロステーキ食べ放題で値段も安いと思います。

Cons:

部屋のカーテンの清潔感がなかった。チェックアウトの時にフロントで伝えたら何度も「申し訳ございません」と頭を下げられました。

Very Good Onsen
Pros:

1) Tatami and twin beds combination great for family stay. Comfortable and spacious.
2) Outdoor Onsen is great and it can be reserved on a first come first serve basis for private use. In addition, another Cave Onsen can be used privately too on a first come first serve basis.
3) Breakfast spread was good.
4) It provides free supper of ramen and beer.

Cons:

1) Location is a quite walk to the main attractions and street of Shuzenji town. furthermore, it is quite dark at night as street lights are quite sparse. If you have a car, then no issue.

The value was good, but I do not recommend the risk for sensitive groups.
Pros:

The facility itself was nice and clean, and the staff were nice. The reservable (at check-in) private onsen were great.

Cons:

Only downside was our room. Although it was a non-smoking room, it had a stench of tobacco stuck inside the whole room. I'm not sure if it was dusty or had mold that went unnoticed (except for the bathroom), but I particularly had an allergic reaction. Opening the windows for airflow and spraying air freshener made little to no difference.
